Estrogen is a steroid hormone containing 18 carbon atoms, which plays an important role in mammalian reproduction. To investigate the regulatory mechanism of estradiol on the expression of growth factors, matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)in dairy cow endometrial tissu, this study intended to study the endometrial tissue of cows cultured in vitro, western blot was used to detect the effects of estradiol on the expression of growth factors,MMP2 and PCNA in endometrium of dairy cows. The results showed that compared with the control group, with the induction of estradiol, the protein expression levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),fibroblast growth factor-2(FGF-2),transforming growth factor?-1(TGF?-1),connective tissue growth factor(CTGF),MMP-2 and PCNA showed an obvious upward trend with the increase of the action time and concentration, indicating estradiol could influence the expression of VEGF,FGF-2,TGF-?1,CTGF,MMP-2,PCNA and other growth factors in the endometrium of dairy cows. This will provid a reliable theoretical basis for the further study of the mechanism of estradiol's effect on the expression of growth factors in endometrial tissues of dairy cows.
