Preparation And Application Of Environmentally Friendly Wood Protection Agent For Fast-growing Tree Species

With its high yield,the rapid-growing tree species are the main wood furniture and building materials in the market.But the disadvantages of rapid-growing trees such as the flammability and perishability can not be ignored.In order to prolong the service life of this fast-growing wood,it is very necessary to use environmental protection agent to treat the wood to give them antiseptic anti-mould performance as also as fire resistance.Three different formulations have been developed for this purpose.By testing the preservatives against decay fungi and moulds,oxygen index of the treated materials,the optimal ratio was selected by full moment matrix method.Then,the optimized formulas were used to treat the common southern fast-growing trees,Pinus massoniana Lamb.and Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.)Hook,and all properties of the processing materials were tested.The concrete results were as follows:Wood is very popular because it's a natural polymer.Extension of timber service life is a way to reduce market supply pressures.In order to extend the useful life of wood,Before processing,it is necessary to treat the wood with environmentally friendly agents,such as antisepsis,mould and flame retardant.This paper examines three different formulations,At the first,the ratio was determined by orthogonal experiments,The performance that anti-corrosion and anti-mildew resistance,oxygen index of the treated material was detected,Then the optimal ratio is selected by the full moment matrix method.In the later stage,the optimal formula of Masson pine and fir were tested before and after the loss of anti-corrosion and anti-mold flame retardant.The findings are as follows:1.Formula 1: Orthogonal compound of guanidine phosphate(GDP),guanidine aminosulfonate(GS)were matched accordding to orthogonal design.For the decay resistance,all treatments reached grade I except processing 1-8;For the mold resistance,the prevention effects against TV is 100 % except processing 1-7.And the prevention effects against AV is 50 %-83.3 %.The oxygen index of the treatments were 1.72-2.71 times higher than that of the control group.The optimized formula H2(2 % GDP,3 % GS,3 %B and 0.5 % DBAC)was obtained.Consider the cost of formula H2,an extra formula for H1(2 % GDP,3 % GS,1 % B and 0.5 % DDBAC)was selected.2.Formula 2: Resin(M),magnesium sulfate(MS)and alkaline compound(AC)were orthogonal compounded.For the decay resistance,all treatments reached grade I except processing 2-4,2-5;For the mold resistance,the prevention effects against TV was 100 % and for AV was 44.44 %-100 %.The oxygen index of the teatments were 2.01-2.71 times higher than blank.The optimized formula was Z: 8 % M,10% B,1 % MS.3.Formula 3: Guanidine derivatives(GD),phosphoric acid(PA),nitrogenous compounds(NS),magnesium sulfate(MS)were matched accordding to orthogonal design.The treatment materials were within the range of Class I and II against fungi;the prevention effects against AV ranged from 33 % to 83 % and against TV were from 57 % to 100 %.The oxygen index were 1.99-3.35 times for the blank group.The optimized formula was T: 4 % GD,6 % PA,4.5 % B,1 % NS,0.5 % MS4.The testing results of the fast-growing wood treated by these optimized formulas showed:(1)Compared with the blank control,the the preservatives against decay fungi and moulds,flame-retardance,water absorbability resistance of wood treated with the four optimized formula was improved.And the goal of "one protective agent with multi effects" was achieved.(2)The OI index of the two treatments were above 88 %.The FGI of Pinus massoniana was 3.75 and 6.37 times lower than that of blank.The fire performance index(FPI)was 13 and 28.8 times larger than the blank.(3)Formula H and Formula T both had certain synergistic flame retardants.(4)Before leaching,the decay resistance of wood treated with the four formula all reached the ?class.But only formula H1 reached ?class after leaching.So Formula H1 had the potential to be used outdoor.(5)The best anti-mildew agent t for.Pinus massoniana Lamb.was formula Z,and the best anti-mildew agent for Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.)Hook was formula T and.
