GAMyb gene is a positive regulator of GA signal transduction and participates in seed germination,pollen germination and stem elongation and etc.TaGAMyb-Ba and TaGAMyb-Bb are two allelic variants of TaGAMyb-B in different wheat materials.It has been found that there are significant differences in plant height between allelic variation of TaGAMyb-Ba and TaGAMyb-Bb in 93 spring wheat natural populations.And the plant height of allelic variation of TaGAMyb-Ba is significantly higher than TaGAMyb-Bb.Transcript expression level of TaGAMyb-B was analyzed by RT-qPCR,the result showed that allelic variation of TaGAMyb-Ba has higher expression level in the second internode than TaGAMyb-Bb.In addition,the length of interstitid thick-walled cells of the allelic variations of TaGAMyb-Ba were longer than that of the TaGAMyb-Bb in the second internode by analysis of longitudinal sections(P=0.03).TaGAMyb-Ba may play a positive regulatory role in promoting the elongation of the second internode.TaGAMyb-B gene has transcript activation activity detected by transcript self-activation detection,but its activity is weak.Moreover,a cDNA library at the stage of jointing treated with GA was constructed in order to seek the proteins interacted with the TaGAMyb-B using the method of yeast two-hybrid.The result showed that TaHSP70 is interacted with TaGAMyb-B.
