| In the ecological environment, seed diffusion is an important step in the replacement of plant populations and plays an important role in the regeneration of plant populations.Seeds are an important part of the food resources of small rodents. The feeding behavior of rodents will reduce the number of surviving seeds, which will adversely affect the proliferation and renewal of plant populations. However, the handling and burying of seeds will reduce the interaction between plants.Individual competition, improve the survival rate of nursery. The advantages of infrared cameras in wildlife research management and protection have been fully verified. The use of infrared cameras to observe the effects of rodents on the spread of plant seeds is more intuitive and comprehensive. In this experiment,we used the infrared camera technology in the desert area of Alashan in May to May 2017 to analyze the nests of the local dominant rat species Dipus sagitta and Meriones meridianus to analyze the desert area in the natural environment. The fate of relict plant Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds and the influence of two rodents on the spread of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds, according the research:1.Rodents have a great influence on the fate of plant seeds. In the spring, the seeds of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus and three-toed juveniles that took them accounted for 11.25%of the total, carrying 2.66%,feeding 0.17%after handling, and losing 1.84%.After the diffusion,4.33%of the potential would be seeded, and 84.08%of the remaining seeds were not eaten or transported by rodents, and 88.41%of the seeds would be planted with potential seedlings. In summer,36.08%of the Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds were fed, transported 2.16%,fed 0.08%,and lost 0.42%.After the diffusion,2.50%of the potential would be seeded, and 61.26%of the remaining seeds were not eaten or transported by rodents, and 63.76%of the seeds would be planted with potential seedlings. In the fall,10.50%of the Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds were fed, transported 1.50%,fed 0.84%,and lost 0.58%.After the diffusion,1.24%of the potential would be seeded, and 86.58%of the remaining seeds were not eaten or transported by rodents, and 87.82%of the seeds would be planted with potential seedlings.2.There is no significant difference in the home range between the mid-day gerbils and three-toed jerboas during spring, summer and fall, and the average area of home range is fall>spring>summer. The maximum activity distance of the gerbils was39.16±2.94m,and the biggest area of home range was 41.03±1.77m~2.The maximum activity distance of the three-toed jerboas was 44.36±1.64m,and the biggest area of home range was 48.67±2.32m~2.3.The seed diffusion distance of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus varies with the seasonal changing of the home range both the two species rodents. However, the difference is not significant. The farthest diffusion in spring is 2.88±1.34m,the longest in summer is2.34±0.49m,and the farthest in fall is 0.81±0.16m.4.The mid-day gerbils made stronger influence on the feeding time, duration of stay, and frequency of movement of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds than that of three-toed jerboas. |
