Western flower thrips,Frankliniella occidentalis(Pergande)and Onion thrips,Trips tabaci(Lindeman)are important pests that endanger vegetables and flowers,because most of the plants that endanger them are inseparable from human life and health.Therefore,we should take the safe and environmental protection method to carry on the green prevention and control to thrips.Many years of scientific research practice has proved that the use of physical control methods,especially the use of insect phototactic principle to trap pests has the advantages of low cost,simple operation,safety for human and animals,and can be combined with other pest control methods,the strategy has become one of the research hotspots in the integrated pest management(Integrated Pest,IPM).At present,sticky cards and trap lamp have been widely used in pest monitoring and prevention,but its lack of specificity and selectivity,in the field application,will mistakenly kill natural enemy insects and other non-target insects,which not only destroys the ecological balance,but also reduces the biodiversity of the ecosystem.Therefore,to understand the behavior mechanism of insect phototactic is the key to improve and develop pest lighting control technology.In this paper,the sensitive monochromatic light of thrips was selected from the indoor conditions,and the sensitive monochrome wave intensity attenuation test was carried out to investigate the effect of light intensity on thrips phototactic behavior.Secondly,the effects of sex,daily rhythm,hunger,temperature and relative humidity on the behavior of thrips Phototactic were studied.Finally,11 kinds of homemade sticky card and 7 different manufacturers of insect-inducing sticky cards were evaluated in the greenhouse,and the trapping effect of the entrapment plate on the thrips was studied in the greenhouse and open place respectively.The main research contents and results of the full text are as follows:(1)Determination of thrips' indoor spectral behavior response : In this study,the sensitive spectra of thrips were determined indoors by using monochrome instrument with high resolution and small spectral range and homemade thrips behavior reaction device,and the results showed that 430 nm blue-purple light,450 nm blue light,498 nm lime-green light and 562 nm yellow light had a strong attractive effect on the Western flower thrips.The photopotaxis of onion thrips to blue-purple light at 430 nm,blue light at 450 nm and yellow light at 562 nm is the best.Through the results of light intensity attenuation test,it is found that the phototaxis of Western flower thrips and Onion thrips are enhanced with the increase of illumination intensity.(2)Influencing factors of thrips phototactic behavior: Using thrips phototaxis rate as statistical index,the effects of sex,daily rhythm,hunger,temperature and relative humidity on the behavior of thrips Phototactic were studied,and the results showed that the phototaxis rate of females was higher than male,whether in Western flower thrips or Onion thrips,and that short period of hunger could stimulate thrips' sensitivity to sensitive light waves to a certain extent.Westernern flower thrips and Onion thrips were more sensitive at14:00-15:30 and 8:30-10:00.To investigate the effect of external environmental factors on the behavior of thrips phototactic it was found that external environmental factors such as temperature and relative humidity also affected thrips 's phototactic behavior.During the day,Through indoor simulation and phototactic behavior determination,it was found that under the 430 nm,450 nm and 562 nm monochromatic light,the rate of phototaxis was significantly higher than that of the control group at 25?~30? nm and except for thrips without obvious phototactic reaction under 498 nm light stimulation.The phototactic relative humidity of Westernern thrips is 60%~75%,while the suitable phototactic relative humidity of Onion thrips is 45~75%.(3)Evaluation of the effect of Thrips on field trapping under different wavelength sticky cards: The trapping effect of thrips was evaluated by using different wavelength sticky cards and different manufacturers in the greenhouse and field,and the results showed that the blue sticky cards and the No.2 sticky cards whose reflection wavelength is about 440~470 nm had the best effect on Western Thrips and Onion thrips.The results of this test are in agreement with indoor experiment.
