Callosobruchus chinensis(Coleoptera: Bruchidae)is a worldwide pest, and always damage Vigna radiata,Vicia faba,Pisum sativum, etc. In order to explore the field selection behavior of C.chinensis and the field trapping activity of mung bean pod volatile, the effects of different factors on the oviposition preference of mung bean and the field trapping effect of mung bean pod volatiles on adult C.chinensis are studied indoors and in the field. The main research results are as follows:1.The indoor insect-feeding method is used to determine the spawning selectivity of adult C.chinensis to different color bean species. The results shows that adult C.chinensis can lay eggs on yellow mung beans, black mung beans, green mung beans. The highest number of eggs laid on black mung beans is 72.4grains/dish;the number of eggs laid on mung beans of the other two colors was 61.60 and 56.80grains/dish,and the hatching rate of mung is the highest,82.24%;for different color beans, the percentage of eclosion of adult C.chinensis is different, the highest percentage of eclosion on green mung beans is82.99%,and there were no significant differences in the rate of the adult C.chinensis.on different colors of beans.2.The oviposition preference study of adult C.chinensis in the field and indoors shows that there is a significant difference in the oviposition preference of adult C.chinensis to different maturity of mung bean pods. The number of eggs laid on the mature yellow-green pods is the highest,4.81 and 4.47,respectively,followed by mature black pods, and there is the least number of eggs on the green pods.3.The oviposition preference survey of adult C.chinensis on different pod positions of mung bean plants finds that the highest number of eggs laid on the mature pods in the middle of the plants is 6.57grains/pod,and the least number of eggs laid on the tender pods on the upper part of the plants is only 2.24grains/pod.4.The oviposition preference study of C.chinensis in different mung bean varieties in the field shows that the number of eggs laid on Jin No.1 mung is the highest, and the egg yield is 3.62 grains/pod,the amount of eggs laid on four insect-resistant species of B18,B20,B23 and A22 is small, and there is no significant difference in the number of eggs per pod of each insect-resistant variety.5.The field trapping test of mung bean pod volatile against C.chinensis finds that 2 mixture of2-hexenal and benzaldehyde in the early stage of the experiment has a good lure effect. When the bottom of the trap is equal to the mung bean, the mung bean field, the insect-resistant mung bean field and the small bean field have good trapping effects on the adult C.chinensis.After trapper hangs over for two days, thetrapping amount reaches 54.33,17.33,67,respectively;the amount of insects in the mung bean field is significantly higher than that in the small bean field, and the female trapping amount is significantly higher than that of the male.
