The drought and salt stress in the boll period threatened the cotton yield and affected the cotton fiber quality.The use of transgenic means to cultivate drought-resistant and salt-tolerant varieties is of great significance to cotton resistance breeding.In this paper,15 transgenic CarNAC1 cotton lines and acceptor material k62 were used as experimental materials.The effects of salt stress,drought stress in barley stage and salt stress and drought stress were studied by using the weighted membership function,principal component analysis and clustering The results showed that the photosynthetic characteristics,agronomic traits,yield traits,fiber quality and physiological indexes of CarNAC1 gene under drought and salt stress were studied systematically for the first time.The results were as follows:After the drought stress,the stomatal conductance of CarNAC1 cotton was significantly lower than that of acceptor material k62,and the transpiration rate was significantly higher than that of acceptor material k62.After salt stress,the stomatal conductance of transgenic cotton plants decreased significantly,transpiration rate and photosynthesis The rate of different cotton varieties is quite different.Under salt stress and drought stress,the average plant height of CarNAC1 cotton was significantly lower than that of recipient material k62.The effective number of bellows and single boll weight and yield were significantly higher than that of receptor material k62.The fiber quality of CarNAC1 cotton was higher than that of recipient material k62 after drought stress,but the fiber quality of CarNAC1 was higher than that of CarNAC1 gene.The results showed that the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)was significantly lower than that of acceptor material k62,and the content of proline and soluble sugar was significantly higher than that of acceptor material k62,peroxidation Hydrogenase,peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activity increased significantly at the initial stage of stress,and the activity of enzyme decreased slowly with the increase of stress time.Based on the results,the CarNAC1 gene was better than that of the receptor material k62.The CarNAC1 gene could improve the drought resistance and salt tolerance of cotton by reducing the stomatal conductance and increasing its self-infiltration regulation,And not to reduce the cost of cotton production and fiber quality.
