Sweet sorghum has biological characteristics such as high biological yield, high sugar content, strong stress resistance, and wide adaptability. It is a quality green feed and silage. However, there are few studies on the application of sweet sorghum feed, which greatly restricts the application of sweet sorghum in animal husbandry. This study explored the ruminal degradability characteristics of ruminal sweet sorghum and the metabolic characteristics of ruminal nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus by using different strains of sweet sorghum as raw materials to feed small-tailed Han sheep under the conditions of feeding the same concentrate and feeding it completely.,To select and produce high-quality sweet sorghum lines as feed raw materials for ruminants, adjust and optimize the composition of ruminant diets, solve the problem of insufficient quality forages in China, reduce feeding costs, improve ruminant production performance and immunity. The function provides a theoretical reference for the scientific application of sweet sorghum.First, the conventional nutrients and carbohydrate content of different strains of sweet sorghum before and after silage.Samples of whole sweet sorghum lines from different strains before and after silage were collected to determine their conventional nutrient content and fibrous carbohydrates(cellulose, lignin and hemicellulose)and non-fibrous carbohydrates(starch, sucrose and pectin). In the conventional nutrient content of different strains of sweet sorghum before and after silage, strain 1 was relatively high, and strain 5 was relatively low;in the carbohydrate content of sweet sorghum of different strains before and after silage, strain 1 was relatively high, and the strain was relatively high.5 is relatively low.Second, the ruminal degradation characteristics of dry matter, crude protein,non-fibrous carbohydrates, and neutral detergent fiber carbohydrates of sweet sorghum from different strains before and after silage and its simultaneous release index of available carbon and nitrogen in the rumen.Ten small-tail sheep ewes(not pregnant)weighing approximately 55 5 kg were selected as test animals. One month before the experiment,10 small tail-tailed sheep were fitted with permanent rumen fistulas and wound care was performed daily.Weigh the appropriate amount of feed ingredients into a nylon bag that was dried and weighed in advance, sealed with a cotton thread, and designed two repeats for each sheep and each sample, and then use a rubber band to fix it on the same PVC pipe. The test is a cycle every 3 days, test 2 d,rest 1 d.After 2 hours of feeding in the morning, the polyvinyl chloride tube was put into the ruminal of the Small Tail Han sheep together with a nylon bag through the rumen fistula, and the samples were injected at 12 time points each time.On the first day,the nylon bags were removed at 1 h,3 h,5 h,7 h,9 h,11 h,13 h,15 h,17 h,19 h,21 h,and 23 h after the injection. The nylon bags were removed at 2 h,4 h,6 h,8 h,10 h,12 h,14 h,16 h,18 h,20 h,22 h,and 24 h after the injection. After taking out the nylon bag, rinse it with plenty of clean water, remove the pellets on the surface of the nylon bag,and then wash it twice with a washing machine for 5 minutes.Nylon bags were dried and weighed below 65? to calculate the ruminal dry matter degradation rate of sweet sorghum with different lines before and after silage. The dried samples were loaded into ziplock bags, numbered, and stored for determination of ruminal degradability of dry matter, crude protein,non-fibrous carbohydrates, and neutral detergent fiber carbohydrates of different strains of sweet sorghum before silage. In the effective ruminal degradation rate of sweet sorghum with different strains before and after ensiling, strain 1 was relatively high, and strain 5 was relatively low;in the simultaneous release index of carbon and nitrogen available for the rumen of different strains of sweet sorghum before silage, strain 1 was relatively High, strain 5 is relatively low.Third, the rumen fermentation characteristics of different strains of sweet sorghum after silage and its effects on the loss of nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus.Thirty-five small Tail Han sheep(not pregnant)weighing approximately 55±5 kg were selected as test animals at approximately 6 months of age.Randomly selected, each group of 7 Small Tail Han sheep was a group of 5 groups.Group I was fed with sweet sorghum line 1+basal diet 1 per day;Group II was fed with sweet sorghum line 2+basal diet 2 daily;Group III was fed with sweet sorghum line 3+basal diet 3 daily;Group IV was fed daily Sweet sorghum line 4+basal diet 4 daily;V group was fed daily sweet sorghum line 5+ basal diet 5 daily. The trial period totaled 18 days, with the first 15 days being the adaptation period and the last 3 days being the sampling period. After the silage of different lines of sweet sorghum, the concentration of volatile fatty acids in the rumen and the molar percentage, strain 1 is relatively high, strain 5 is relatively low;after silage of different strains of sweet sorghum, rumen nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus loss rate, strain 5 Relatively high, line 1 is relatively low. Conclusion:In the conventional strains of sweet sorghum with conventional nutrient content, carbohydrate content, effective ruminal degradation rate and available nitrogen release index of rumen, volatile fatty acid concentration and molar percentage, dry matter intake, daily gain,Line 1 was relatively high,Line 3,Line 2,and Line 4 were the fourth line.Line 5 was relatively low.Among the loss rates of nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus,Line 5 was relatively high,Line 4,Line 2,and Line 3.Second,Line 1 is relatively low. This shows that the sweet sorghum line 1 has a relatively high feed value and is suitable for popularization and application.By analyzing the correlations between the nutritional indices of sweet sorghum with different strains before and after silage, the simultaneous release index of carbon and nitrogen and its conventional nutrients, carbohydrates, effective ruminal degradation rate, volatile fatty acids, and nitrogen, calcium, etc.can be used in the rumen of sweet sorghum.Phosphorus loss rates are highly relevant and can be used to evaluate the feed value of sweet sorghum.
