This study aims at discussing the influence of tomato pomace increase in diets on growth performance,body quality,nutrient digestion rate,meat quality,antioxidant ability and economic benefit of finishing pigs.This experiment adopts the single factor design,dividing 80 Dorok × Landrace × Yorkshire crossbreeding-finishing pigs of(95.20 ± 3.95)kg into four groups randomly.Each group has 4 repeating groups with 5 pigs in each repeating group.Feed the control group with basal diet,and add tomato pomace(calculated by dry material)of 100、200 and 300 mg/d respectively to TOP100 group,TOP200 group and TOP300 group based on the basal ration.The length of pre-feeding is 3 days,and the length of formal feeding is 37 days.Results show that:1.The content of nutrients in tomato dry residue was 8.29%,dry matter was 91.71%,crude protein was 15.32%,crude fat was 7.9%,crude fiber was 11.69%,crude ash was 1.04%,Ca 0.62% and P 0.31%.TOP200 group and TOP300 group(P < 0.01).The crude ash content of the three groups increased significantly by 46.19%,50.50% and 44.21%(P<0.01).2.Compared to the control group,the average weight of the TOP100 group was significantly higher than that of the other three groups(P<0.01).The body weight of the TOP200 group significantly increased(P<0.05),and the number of bodies in the TOP100 group decreased significantly(P<0.05).The area of the 3 groups that added tomato residue increased by 49.11 %,46.82%,71.93%(P<0.05).TOP200 group of dry matter and crude ash content increased by 5.66%(P<0.05),14.81%(P<0.01),TOP200 crude fibre TOP300 group significantly reduced by 9.25% and 11.88%(P<0.01),other indexes had no significant effect on the apparent digestibility(P>0.05);TOP200 group of a* value significantly increased(P<0.01),done in groups of cooking loss was significantly decreased by 15.17%(P<0.05),done in groups,TOP200 centrifugal water loss rate significantly decreased(P<0.01).TOP200 group and TOP300 SOD activity significantly increased(P<0.01),were increased by 40.99%,40.99%,done in groups,TOP200 groups and TOP300 MDA values were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the serum levels of T-AOC,GSH activity effect was not significant(P>0.05);In the liver and muscle,the activity of MDA activity significantlydecreased(P<0.05),and the activity of t-aoc,t-sod,GSH was improved.TOP100 group gained 586.26 yuan per head,up 148.06,52.2and 52.92 in the other three groups.The TOP100 group’s profit of 466.90 yuan was the highest of the four groups,28.96,53.31 and 36.89 yuan more than the other three groups.In summary,Add 100 g/head /d of tomato residue in the diet of pig fat can increase the daily gain and reduce the weight ratio,eye muscle area increased significantly,significantly improved muscle tenderness and flesh color a* value,enhance the liver and muscle T-AOC,T-SOD,GSH activity,an increase of economic benefits.The addition of tomato slag in fattening pig feed should not exceed 300 g/head /d.
