In view of the problems of sow fatigue syndrome, sow reproductive syndrome and early weaning stress syndrome in pigs, combined with the characteristics of pigs in various physiological periods, the test was carried out with appropriate astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine. The aim is to provide an objective scientific basis for controlling the reproductive disorders of large-scale pig farms, improving the overall reproductive efficiency of sow herds and the growth performance of weaned piglets. This study is divided into the following four parts:(1)Select 40 sows that grew up in the late pregnancy and randomly divided into 20 control groups and 20 test groups. The sows in the control group were managed in the usual way on the farm.On the 7th day before the birth of the piglets in the experimental group, the birth of the last piglet and the 7th day after the birth of the piglets, each sow was injected with astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 1 at a dose of 10 mL/100 kg.In the experimental group, the piglets were orally administered with astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 1 at a dose of 0.2 mL per head.(2)The experiment selected 40 reserve sow with a age of about 6.5 months, divided into a test group and a control group, each with 20 heads. Each sow of the test group was fed 0.5 g of astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 2 every day until the end of 3 weeks after estrus breeding. After 42 days of sows that are still not estrus after continuous addition of additives,no additives are added to it.The sows in the control group were cultured according to the conventional management methods of the farm.(3)Select 40 sows that have experienced 3 to 5 times of suckling piglets and randomly divide them into 2 groups. The sows in the control group were fed according to the conventional method. The sows in the experimental group were fed a diet supplemented with astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 2 every day for 85 daysfrom the date of pregnancy. The dosage of the additive was 2.5g of additive per day for each sow;from the 86 th day of the sow's pregnancy to breastfeeding At the end of the period, the dose of the additive is 5g of additive per sow per day.(4)All piglets born to the fourteen sows in the same time period were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The control group piglets were kept and managed according to the conventional methods of feeding piglets. The piglets in the test group were added with 200 g of the astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 3 for every 50 kg of feed from 5 days before weaning to 5 days after weaning;from the 6th day after weaning to the 10 th day after weaning In the time,200 g of the astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 3 is added per 100 kg of feed.Research indicates:(1)The lactation strength of the test group was increased(P<0.05),the body condition score of the sow was increased during weaning(P<0.05),and the estrus rate and conception rate were increased by 10% within 7 days of weaning. The weaning weight of the pigs in the experimental group was significantly increased at 21 days of age and the average daily weight gain during lactation(P<0.05).The fur development score of weaned piglets was increased(P<0.05).(2)Continuous addition of astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 2.The blood sample on the 14 th day showed that the content of progesterone(P)in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH).And estradiol(E2)content was higher than the control group(P<0.05).On the 35 th day,the blood sample showed that the content of P in the test group was 16.02% lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The estrus rate of the gilts in the experimental group reached 80%,and the number of days fed to estrus was 3.77 days earlier(P<0.05).The birth weight of piglets, the weaning weight of piglets, the nest weight of 21-day-old and the survival rate of piglets were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The quality of the colostrum in the experimental group was improved(P<0.05).The sow body condition score of the test group in weaning group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The estrus rate of sows in the experimental group increased within one week after weaning.(3)The birth weight of the piglets in the experimental group, the litter weight of the piglets, the body weight of the piglets at weaning, and the litter weight of the piglets at 21 days of age were significantly increased(P<0.05).The milk protein content in the colostrum of the experimental group increased(P<0.05).The blood samples on the 14 th day after delivery of the sows showed that the prolactin(PRL),LH and E2 in the experimental group were significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).The blood samples from the 5th day after sow weaning showed that the content of P in the experimental group decreased(P<0.05),and the contents of FSH,LH and E2 were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The postpartum estrus interval in the test group was shortened by an average of0.87 days(P<0.05).(4)On the 14 th day after weaning, the piglets in the experimental group were heavier than the control group(P<0.05).In terms of serum antioxidant activity of piglets, the superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity, total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)and malondialdehyde(MDA)content of the experimental group were not significantly different from those of the control group(P>0.05).Studies have shown that the use of astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 1 can effectively improve the health status of sows and improve the performance of sows after weaning, improve the lactation performance of sows, improve the quality of sow colostrum, and thus effectively Improve the health and growth performance of suckling piglets;astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 2 can improve reproductive endocrine function of gilts, promote estrus breeding of sows, improve breastfeeding ability of sows, maintain good body condition and shorten estrus interval;astragalus series compound additives for Chinese herbal medicine 3 can alleviate the weaning stress of piglets and improve the growth performance of weaned piglets.
