As a leading industry in the animal husbandry,the beef cattle industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the livestock industry and has significant economic and social benefits.Feed is the basis for the development of beef cattle breeding industry.How to effectively improve the efficient utilization and transformation of feed through feed additives and improve the performance and health of beef cattle has always been the focus and hotspot of national research.Therefore,in this experiment,we designed the proportion and dosage of beef cattle feed additives by looking up the literature and according to the actual situation of Heilongjiang beef cattle industry,,in order to develop a new beef cattle feed additive with convenient use,cost-effective and remarkable effect.The trial was carried out at a large-scale beef cattle farm in Arongqi,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Twenty-eight 12-month-old healthy Simmental beef cattle were selected as test animals and their weights were similar.The animals were randomly divided into group 1(GABA additive),group 2(trace element additive),test group(GABA complex trace element additive),and control group(basic diet),with 7 beef cattle per group.Before the start of the test and at the end of the test,all cattle were weighed on an empty stomach for two consecutive days before feeding.The dry matter intake,total weight gain,average daily gain and feed-to-weight ratio were recorded and calculated.The blood of beef cattle was collected on the 0,10,20,30,40,50,and 60 days of the experiment,and the serum was separated to detect ALT,AST,ALP,TP,ALB,GLO,TG,NEFA,BUN,Ig A,Ig G,Ig M,MDA,SOD,GSH-Px and other indicators.The results show(1)In terms of growth performance,the average daily weight gain of the group 1 was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05)and the group 2(P<0.05);the the average daily weight gain of the test group was pronounced higher than the group 2,which was significantly higher than the control group.At the same time,the feed-to-weight ratio of group 1 was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01),which was significantly lower than that of the two groups(P<0.01).The ratio of feed to weight of the three groups was pronounced lower than that of the two groups(P<0.01)and extremely significantly lower than the control group(P <0.01).(2)In terms of liver function: on day 60,the activity of AST in the three groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).At the 10 th,20th,30 th,50th and60 th day,the levels of ALP in the 3 groups were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).On the 60 th day,the ALP level in the 1 group exhibited markedly elevated compared with the control group(P < 0.05).(3)In terms of energy metabolism of beef cattle: on the 30 th and 50 th day of the experiment,the concentration of TG in group 1 was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);on the 50 th day of the experiment,the concentration of TG in the group 2 was significantly decreased compared with the control group(P<0.05).Furthermore,on the 40 th day of the experiment,the BUN content of group 2 was significantly lower than that of group 1(P<0.05),which was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01);The levels of BUN in the experimental test group were markedly lower than those in the group 1 and the control group(P<0.01).By contrast,on the 60 th day,the content of BUN in group 1,group 2 and test group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)In improving the immune system of beef cattle: On the 20 th day of the experiment,the content of TP in group 2 was significantly higher than that in group 1(P<0.05),and was highly elevated compared with the control group(P<0.01);the level of TP in the test group was also significantly higher than that in the group 1 and the control group(P<0.05);on the 40 th day of the experiment,the content of TP in group 2 was significantly higher than that in group 1 and the control group(P<0.05).In addition,at the 20 th day of the experiment,the GLO level of group 2was significantly higher than that of group 1 and the control group(P<0.05);similar to group 2,the content of GLO in test group was also significantly higher than that of group 1 and the control group(P<0.05);on the 40 th day,the GLO level of group 2 was dramatically increased compared with the group 1(P<0.05).(5)In terms of antioxidants: on the 20 th,30th and 60 th day of the experiment,the activity of SOD in test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);on the 30 th,40th and 50 th day of the experiment,the activity of SOD in test group was significantly increased compared with group 2(P<0.05);on the 40 th and 50 th day,the activity of SOD in test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Moreover,at the 10 th,20th,30 th,40th,50 th and 60 th day of the experiment,the activity of GSH-Px in group 1 wassignificantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01);at the 10 th,20th,50 th,and 60 th day of the experiment,the activity of GSH-Px in group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01);on the 10 th,20th,30 th and 50 th day of the experiment,the activity of GSH-Px in test group was significantly higher than that in group 1,group 2 and control group(P<0.01).(6)In terms of the economic benefits of beef cattle: the net profit generally higher in the group 1,2 and the test group than that in the control group.Strikingly,the feed additives used in test group have the highest economic benefits compared to the other groups.The results shown that(1)Adding the above three feed additives to the beef cattle basic diet can improve the performance,the liver function and energy metabolism of beef cattle;improve the immune performance of beef cattle,enhance the antioxidant capacity of beef cattle.Among the three feed additives,the additive with ?-aminobutyric acid composite trace element has the most significant effect,and has the greatest positive impact on the production performance,which can improve the economic benefit and can be used as an ideal feed additive for beef cattle.(2)Coated gamma-aminobutyric acid synergizes with yeast selenium,cobalt chloride and basic zinc chloride.These results demonstrate that coated gamma-aminobutyric acid can modulate the function of the animal's mucosal immune system by promoting secretion of immunoglobulin A.At the same time,our results also verified that selenium have the ability to improve immunity and disease resistance.
