Research On The Status Quo Of Recreational Fisheiy And Its Countermeasures In Zhejiang Province

Recreational fishery is one of the five major industries in fisheries.As an effective carrier,it promotes the transformation and upgrading of fisheries,facilitates the fishermen realize a transformation in the fishing industry,and it helps implement the strategy of “revitalizing beautiful fishing villages”.Fishery is a major industry in Zhejiang,and the recreational fishery is vital to the development of Zhejiang fisheries.By reviewing previous researches,this paper clarifies the concept,types,characteristics and the cultural of recreational fisheries,and summarizes the research content and development direction of recreational fishery in both nation-wide and world-wide,and concludes the research progress from different research perspectives.The experience of developing recreational fisheries in mainland China,Taiwan,the United States,Australia and Japan was compared and analyzed,and the development history and types of recreational fisheries in Zhejiang province were analyzed.On this basis,this paper uses SWOT model and projection pursuit model to analyze the development status of recreational fishery in Zhejiang,it is clarifying the opportunities and challenges in the development of recreational fishery comparing and analyzing existing problems,then providing suggestions for the future development.The comparison results at domestic and foreign of the recreational fisheries leave some implications: Firstly,the government should construction of laws and regulations,plan and make guidance for recreational fisheries.Secondly,the government should actively promote the development of recreational fisheries and attract the participation of the general public.Thirdly,it is mandatory to do monitor and research,to scientifically guide the development of recreational fisheries.Lastly,it is important to raise our awareness to protect marine resources and promote the sustainable development.From the specific analysis,five development strategies can be drawn: Firstly,to strengthen the protection and inheritance of fishery culture,and to promote brand building.Then,to improve service quality and enrich product systems.Thirdly,to develop special recreational fisheries according to local conditions.Fourthly,to strengthen the self-discipline of the industry and enterprises,and improve the quality of employees;Finally,to encourage the development of the association and enhance its own function building.
