Study On Water And Soil Conservation In The Loess Plateau Of Zhu Xianmo

Water and soil conservation in the loess plateau is an important part of improving the natural ecology and the Yellow River in northwest China,and has achieved remarkable achievements in the 69 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China.Academician Zhu Xianmo(1915—2017)is a distinguished scientist who devoted his life to the water and soil conservation of the loess plateau.For more than 60 years,he has visited the loess plateau for many times to study soil erosion control,then moved his family to the loess plateau in 1959,and explored the water and soil conservation strategies of the loess plateau in the fields of soil science and ecology,and became an expert on the water and soil conservation of the loess plateau.This paper uses the theory and method of historical materialism,combining with the loess plateau is discussed by the change of natural ecology and social history Zhu Xianmo academic experiences growing up,in the course of academic research and a series of important research achievements,exploring his spirit of doing scholarly research,to recreate Zhu Xianmo continuously explore innovative conservation life and the history of the loess plateau water and soil loss control of the People's Republic of China,in order to move on for the loess plateau water and soil conservation in the new century enterprise provide historical reference.
