| Guangxi province is an important province of forest processing industry in China. With the vigorous development of wood processing industry, guangxi province has realized the synchronous and sustainable growth of forest resources and achieved fruitful results in forest management. However, problems such as large proportion of young forest, simple forest structure caused by traditional forestry management also exist.Forest management has huge development potential. In recent years, forestry researchers around the world are paying more attention to forest health and related research, but at present, the research on forest health evaluation in guangxi province is still in its infancy. In this study, four experimental sites of Tropical Forest Research Center were selected as the research objects. The community structure-biodiversity index model was constructed with the survey index information, and then the forest health was evaluated. In order to verify the accuracy of this method, more original indicators were selected, and factor analysis method was used to extract and summarize the indicators. Then, the score of each factor in each sample plot was obtained through regression, and then the forest health evaluation index of the sample plot was calculated. The results show that the forest health evaluation grade of all the samples obtained by the two methods is relatively uniform.According to the analysis results, the forest health degree of the natural forest plots is higher than that of the planted forest plots. And,the health level of the artificial forest plots is different from each other.Among the four experimental sites, the overall health level of forest community in Qingshan experimental site was the highest, reaching sub-health level on average. The overall health level of Baiyun experimental site is poor.Because the afforestation time of Shaoping experimental site was generally late and its representativeness was slightly inferior to that of other experimental sites. The research is a great supplementary to the forest management present and forest health related research in Guangxi province. |
