Under the artificial simulated rainfall conditions of 3 slope gradients(5,10,15 degrees)and 0.8mm/min rainfall intensity, the soil and water loss of different combinations of PAM and fly ash was studied in order to find out the variation regularity of the initial runoff yield time, runoff yield, total runoff yield, sediment yield and total sediment yield. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)There is a negative correlation between the beginning time of runoff production on slope and slope gradient, that is,the beginning time of runoff production on slope is advanced with the increase of slope gradient. The combination of PAM and fly ash has a significant effect on delaying runoff yield under the three gradient conditions, and the combination of 1g/m2 PAM and 10% fly ash has the best effect.(2)The steady runoff yield and the total runoff yield are positively correlated with slope gradient, and the runoff yield of different treatments is logarithmically distributed with time.Compared with the control, the combined application of 1g/m2 PAM and 10% fly ash has the best effect on reducing runoff yield and the smallest total runoff on the slope under different slope conditions. It is the smallest under the condition of 5 degree slope.(3)The sediment yield of the three slope gradients is larger at the beginning and then more gentle after the beginning of runoff yield, and the sediment yield of the 15 degree slope shows a larger fluctuation during the whole process.(4)Under different slope conditions, the sediment yield of each combination was the highest in CK,followed by P0F5,and the lowest in P2F5.(5)The total sediment yield of slope is positively correlated with slope gradient, and the total sediment yield of slope is exponentially distributed with slope gradient in different slope gradients and experimental treatments. Moreover, the best effect of reducing total sediment yield is to apply 2 g/m 2 PAM and 5% fly ash on 15 degree slope.
