There are about half of the world's people using rice as food crop.Researchers in cultivation and breeding have carried out many studies on how to improve yield.Among them,exploring the means of fertilizer regulation and breeding high-yield and high-efficiency varieties adapted to different fertility levels are of great significance to improve yield.After screening several rice varieties commonly used in Sichuan,we selected F You 498,Luyou257 and Nei5You 768 as experimental materials,which responded differently to nitrogen,and used split plot design to analyze nitrogen and phosphorus regulation by comparing yield,plant architecture,nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium content and element utilization efficiency.The effects of regulation on different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties were studied,the response differences were clarified,and the appropriate nitrogen and phosphorus regulation measures were explored.Results indicate that(1)Nitrogen and phosphorus regulation significantly increased the yield of rice varieties with different nitrogen response types:the yield of high-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Fyou 498 could reach 10 932.87 kg/hm~2 at high nitrogen and high phosphorus;The yield of low-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Luyou 257 was 10 611kg/hm~2 at high nitrogen and medium phosphorus.Yield of high-efficiency variety Nei5you768 could reach 11094.64 kg/hm2 at high nitrogen and phosphorus.Effective panicle number is the key factor in the response of yield to nitrogen and phosphorus regulation of different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties.(2)Nitrogen and phosphorus regulation have significant effects on plant architecture of different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties:The plant architecture of high-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Fyou 498 is looser and higher at high nitrogen and medium phosphorus.Low-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Luyou 257 is more compact and higher at medium nitrogen and low phosphorus.High-efficiency variety Nei5you768 is more compact and shorter at medium nitrogen and high phosphorus.Functional leaf area is the key factor in the response of plant architecture to nitrogen and phosphorus regulation of different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties.(3)The effects of nitrogen and phosphorus regulation on plant element content and utilization efficiency of different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties are different:Nitrogen and potassium contents of high-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Fyou 498,are higher at high nitrogen and medium phosphorus,and the phosphorus harvest index and the utilization efficiency of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium elements are higher.Luyou 257,the low-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety,has higher nitrogen and potassium contents,higher nitrogen harvest index and higher nitrogen and phosphorus utilization efficiency at medium nitrogen and low phosphorus.Nitrogen content and nitrogen harvest index as well as nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium utilization efficiency of high-efficiency variety Nei5you768 are higher at medium nitrogen and high phosphorus.The efficiency of dry matter production is the key factor for the response of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium utilization efficiency to nitrogen and phosphorus regulation in different nitrogen-responsive rice varieties.(4)The effective panicle number is the main factor affecting the yield of each variety,the amount of nitrogen fertilizer is the main factor affecting the yield of Fyou 498and Luyou 257,nitrogen dry matter production efficiency and phosphorus grain production efficiency are the main factors affecting the yield of Nei5you 768.(5)Nitrogen and phosphorus levels with higher utilization fertilizer efficiency in different nitrogen and phosphorus levels:The high-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Fyou 498 will be higher utilization fertilizer efficiency in high nitrogen and medium phosphorus level areas,the low-nitrogen and high-efficiency variety Luyou 257 will be higher utilization fertilizer efficiency in low nitrogen and low phosphorus level areas,and the high-efficiency variety Nei5you768 will be higher utilization fertilizer efficiency in high nitrogen and high phosphorus level areas.
