Thinning is an important forest technical measure,is able to regulate stand density,improve forest environment,promote the growth of trees.Slope positions is a common habitat factor,play a main role in soil moisture,soil fertility,and soil depth.Therefore,research on a r ange of thinning intensity and slope position,is good t o increase the economic benefits of C hinese fir forest,improve the biomass,carbon reservation.This paper takes study on Chinese Fir P lantations on jiangle state-owned forest farm in Fujian,took three slope position by upper,middle,lower,and each slope position had five different thinning intensity by 0%,20%,25%,33%and 5 0%.Analysis the change of forest biomass and C reserve in different slope position and thinning intensity,after thinned 3 years ago.Research into the change rule on tree 1 ayer,shurb layer and field layer.And,it can also supports reasonable ope ration of R&D institution and production institution.The preliminary conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Thinning has influence on each Chinese fir plantation layers biomass and C reserve.After thinned 3 years,low and middle thinning intensity are useful to tree layer biomass and C reserve growth,but high thinning intensity are abserve to tree layer biomass and C reserve growth;shurb layer and field layer biomass and C reserve are increased with the thinning intensity;litter layer biomass and C reserve decreased as thinning intensity increased.The total Chinese fir plantation biomass and C reserve change rule is same with tree layer.(2)Under the same slope position and thinning intensity,each composition of tree layer biomass are significant difference;branch,leaf and total biomass in shurb layer are significant difference,root biomass is without significant difference;each composition of field layer,litter layer and the sum total of all layers biomass is significant difference.(3)Under the same slope position and different thinning intensity,each composition of tree layer,shurb layer,field layer,litter layer and the sum total of all layers C reserve are significant difference.(4)Slope p osition h as i nfluence o n each C hinese fir plantation 1 ayers b iomass an d C r eserve.Higher slope position is abserve to tree layer,field layer and the sum total of all layers biomass and C reserve growth.Higher slope position is abserve to shurb layer biomass growth.Higher slope position are useful to field layer biomass and litter layer biomass and C reserve.(5)Under the same thinning intensity and different slope position,each composition of tree layer biomass are significant difference;total biomass in shurb layer are significant difference,branch,leaf and root biomass are without significant difference;The overground part biomass and C reserve in field layer is significant difference,the underground part and the total are opposite;each composition of litter layer biomass are without significant difference;the s um total of a 11 layers biomass and C reserve is significant difference.
