China is among the countries which are seriously affected by soil erosion,especially in the western arid and semi-arid areas.Wind erosion is not only a serious constraint to socio-economic development,threatening the ecological environment,but also an adverse effect factor of human health.The traditional wind erosion calculation and prediction methods are inefficient,and they are uneasy to achieve efficient management of high-volume wind erosion monitoring data,which is not conducive to the data in-depth mining and analysis.Overall,The study of soil erosion information is still in its infancy,and software available to putting into utilization is rare,it is urge to establish a set of rapid and efficient soil erosion software,so as to provide informatization service for the calculation of soil erosion and evaluation of soil erosion disaster.As a result,based on the wind tunnel experimental model of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Therefore,based on the experimental model of the wind tunnel of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,this paper has developed a set of soil erosion model software for Dengkou County area using Visual C#and ArcGIS Engine,a component GIS development platform.It realized the rapid estimation of regional wind erosion and visualization of wind erosion modulus,offered technical support for local soil and water conservation departments and provided reference for the prevention and control of soil desertification in arid and semi-arid areas.The main research results of this paper include the following contents:(1)Through literatures in home and abroad,the author learned about research status of soil erosion model and selected one suitable for the research area.Combining with actual situation,the author made corresponding modification of model and set it as the theory basis of system calculating soil erosion.(2)After comprehensive analysis of entire system,the author identified software development technology route,including the selection of hardware and software platform and the design of system function structure.On this basis,the model of the wind erosion model of Dengkou County based on GIS is developed.The software provided the customs with several functions,such as measuring point data import,wind erosion factor difference,calculation of wind erosion modulus soil wind erosion intensity grading and so on,and provided technical support for the calculation and evaluation of soil wind erosion in the study area.(3)Based on the wind erosion monitoring data of Dengkou County in 2016,the software is tested and the calculation process of the software core function of wind erosion modulus is presented.And based on the final grading figure of soil wind erosion intensity of Dengkou County,the author made the corresponding analysis from the spatial dimension.
