Water is the first factor for human survival. With the rapid growth of population, the supply of water resources has become an important issue, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions, the problem of water supply is even more severe. The method of making use of space electric field to collect water and inhibit soil water evaporation is a new agricultural water-saving technology which has developed very quickly in recent years. This paper makes use of the space electrostatic technique to apply high-voltage DC electrostatic field to the soil and studies the effects of space electric field on soil moisture content under different voltages, and analyzes the dynamic trend of soil moisture content in each soil layer under the action of space electric field and atmospheric electric field as well as the average water change of the soil in every 12h.At the same time, this paper also analyzes the soil conductivity of each soil layer under the action of different electric field electric fields. The results show that the application of space electric field can inhibit the evaporation of soil moisture.Besides, the effect of different electric field electric fields(-20kV,-25kV,-30kV)on soil moisture content is tested, revealing that the soil moisture evaporation is inhibited when the applied voltage is-25kV at a different pole pitch of 2.0m and the result is the best.It is found that the space electric field has a obvious influence on the conductivity of the soil. When the voltage is-25kV,the growth rate of soil electrical conductivity in the space electric field test group is obviously higher than that in the atmospheric electric field test group, which is about 2.2 times that of the atmospheric electric field test group. The results provide theoretical support and relevant data for the future development of space electrostatic technique.
