Industrial cultivation of edible fungi has become the mainstream trend of edible fungi cultivation.Pengyang County of Ningxia has realized the annual cultivation of Pleurotus eryngii by introducing industrial cultivation techniques of edible fungi.However,affected by the unique climate in Liupanshan area,temperature,humidity,CO2 concentration and light have important effects on the growth and development of Pleurotus eryngii.A lot of previous studies have shown that the optimum environmental temperature during the primordium formation period is 13-15?,the relative air humidity is 85-90%,the concentration of carbon dioxide is 2000-3000mg/kg,and the shelter from light.The optimum ambient temperature,relative air humidity,carbon dioxide concentration and illumination for frniting body growth were 15-17?,80-85%,3000-5000mg/kg and 50-500 lux.Even so,there is still a long cultivation cycle.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the hygroscopicity of the culture medium and its intermal relationship with the size of granularity from the source,in order to find an effective way to shorten the cultivation cycle.Starting with the raw materials,the biological characteristics and particle size of the raw materials of Pleurotus eryngii culture medium were analyzed and tested for the hygroscopicity effect,and the hygroscopicity rate of com cob,straw,alfalfa and other raw materials and the time needed to reach the hygroscopicity saturation were explored.Effective test data are provided for the requirement of medium humidity during mixing.On the basis of sorting out the experimental data and processing the data by software analysis,the com cob granularity of 0.8 cm and 1 cm in summer in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia was obtained.When the water temperature is 18(+3?),the water absorption rate of corncob is the fastest,and the humidity of the medium can be reached in 16 to 18 hours.Compared with the previous pre-wetting plant,it shortened 4-6 hours,lightly simplified the cultivation cycle of edible fungi,and improved the efficiency in the pre-wetting stage of medium mixing.Based on the experimental data,the design of humidity monitoring and control system for field mixing and pre-humidification is carried out.Field test and analysis show that the system has stable and reliable data transmission,wide monitoring range,and can accurately monitor the humidity of edible fungus media mixtures during pre-wetting.It lays a foundation for fUrther research on humidity monitoring and control during mixing and establishment of a perfect mechanism for humidity requirement of media materials.At present,the system has been widely used in the demonstration base of edible fungi comprehensive science and technology in Pengyang County,Ningxia.
