Regeneration is an important way of forest renewal,and regeneration is also an important part of the plant regeneration niche.The regeneration not only plays an important role in ensuring the continuation of plant populations,but also plays an important role in the maintenance of community structure,species composition and species diversity.Based on the review of 5ha plots in Gutianshan of Zhejiang Province in 2007,this study focused on 147 species of woody plants(DBH?1cm),23450 trunks and sprout stems in the plot,and combines the topography and community characteristics of the 5ha plot in Gutianshan.Detailed analysis the regeneration characteristics of different taxonomic groups in the evergreen broadleaf forest of Gutianshan,and explored the distribution of different taxonomic groups in different terrain conditions,as well as the impact of the regeneration capacity of different taxonomic groups on Community species diversity.This study will provide a scientific reference for further improving the species coexistence theory of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests,and for further understanding the role of regeneration tree species in plant community restoration and ecosystem function maintenance.The main results and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Regeneration characteristics of plants of different taxonomic groups: At the family level,among the 41 families with?3 plots in the 5ha plot of Gutianshan,31 families had the regeneration capacity,10 families had no regeneration capacity,and the regeneration capacity of different families was significantly different.At the species level,among the 124 species with?3 plots in the 5ha plot of Gutianshan,94 species had the regeneration capacity,30 species had no regeneration capacity,and the regeneration capacity of different species was significantly different.It is indicated that in the 5 ha evergreen broad-leaved forest plots in Gutianshan,different taxonomic groups are widespread phenomenon of regeneration,and the regeneration capacity between different taxonomic groups is different,and this shows that different taxonomic groups have different preferences in the strategy of population renew.(2)The correlation between the regeneration capacity of different taxonomic groups and the different topographic factors was analyzed.The results showed that: As the altitude increases,the regenerative capacity of the Hamamelidaceae,Lauraceae,Rubiaceae,Elaeocarpaceae and Loropetalum chinense,Castanopsis fargesii,Castanopsis tibetana increased.As the altitude increases,the regenerative capacity of the Castanopsis eyrei,Ternstroemia gymnanthera,Corylopsis glandulifera weakened.As the slope increases,the regenerative capacity of the Corylopsis glandulifera and Sloanea sinensis significantly increased.As the slope increases,the regenerative capacity of the Camellia fraterna weakened.The regenerative capacity of Fagaceae,Caprifoliaceae and Neolitsea aurata var.chekiangensis gradually increased from the east slope to the north slope.The regenerative capacity of Viburnum erosum gradually weakened from the east slope to the north slope.The regenerative capacity of Oleaceae and Sloanea sinensis are stronger at the ridge.The regenerative capacity of Saxifragaceae,Lithocarpus glaber and Itea oblonga are stronger in the valley.There is no significant correlation between other families and species and different topographic factors.It is indicated that in the 5 ha evergreen broad-leaved forest plots of Gutianshan,different families and species have different regenerations capacity under different topographic conditions,and only a few families and species have a significant correlation with the topographic factors.Most of the remaining families and species have experienced different levels of regeneration under different topographic conditions,however,it did not show significant correlation.(3)The correlation between the regeneration capacity of different taxonomic groups and the community species diversity was analyzed.The results showed that: As the regenerative capacity of Fagaceae,Myrtaceae,Magnoliaceae and Castanopsis tibetana,Photinia parvifolia increases,The species richness of the community increased.As the regenerative capacity of Calycanthaceae,Hamamelidaceae,Lauraceae,Saxifragaceae,Styracaceae and Chimonanthus salicifolius,Rododendron ovatum,Castanopsis fargesii,Itea oblonga,Myrica rubra,Vaccinium carlesii increases,The species richness of the community weakened.As the regenerative capacity of Fagaceae,Magnoliaceae increases,The community species diversity increased.As the regenerative capacity of Calycanthaceae,Hamamelidaceae,Styracaceae and Castanopsis fargesii,Chimonanthus salicifolius increases,The community species diversity weakened.The species richness of the community weakened.As the regenerative capacity of Fagaceae and Rododendron simsii increases,The uniformity pattern of species within the community is gradually increasing.As the regenerative capacity of Calycanthaceae,Daphniphyllaceae and Chimonanthus salicifolius,Daphniphyllum oldhamii increases,The uniformity pattern of species within the community will be weakened.There is no significant correlation between other families and species and community species diversity.It is indicated that in the 5 ha evergreen broad-leaved forest plots of Gutianshan,the strength of the regenerative capacity of different families and species will have different effects on the community species diversity,and only a few families and species have significant correlations with community species diversity.Most of the remaining families and species have a certain impact on community species diversity,however,it did not show significant correlation.In summary,this study found that in the 5ha evergreen broad-leaved forest of Gutianshan,the regeneration strategies of different taxonomic groups are different.They not only maintain the continuation of their own populations by different intensity of regenerations in different topography,moreover,it has different degrees of impact on the development of forest community species diversity.The relationship between the regenerative capacity of different taxonomic groups of evergreen broad-leaved forests and topography and community species diversity is a complex scientific problem.Subsequent research can make full use of the advantages of long-term dynamic monitoring of plots,consider choosing more or more plots and community types,longer time scales,more complex geographical environments,combined with soil,climate and other impact factors are further developed.
