Crop planting area and potential productivity information is the basic information of agricultural production,and also the decision-making basis for adjusting agricultural structure and formulating economic plans.The governments and departments have always paid a high degree attention to the agricultural information.With the rapid growth of population,the sustainable development of agricultural resources in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is facing great challenges.So,it is urgent to survey crop planting area information and forecast agricultural potential productivity to make agricultural policies,adjust agricultural structure and promote the sustainable development of agriculture.With the continuous development of computer technology and Remote Sensing technology,the technical means of agricultural investigation are becoming more and more modern.Taking winter wheat as the study object and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the study area,the planting area was extracted and its potential productivity was evaluated.Using MODIS images from 2016 to 2017 as the main data source,and calculating NDVI(Normalized Vegetation Index)of each phase.DNVI time series curves were reconstructed by S-G filtering.Finally,the planting area of winter wheat was obtained by decision tree classification.Based on the planting area,combining GIS and DSSAT model(the decision support system for Agrotechnolgy Transfer),the winter wheat potential productivity were estimated at a provincial scale.The results show that the combination of remote sensing,DSSAT model and GIS can achieve large-area crop extraction and potential productivity evaluation.And the estimation have a high spatial resolution and accuracy.The main conclusions are:The planting area of winter wheat in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is 2205.88 hectares.Compared with the statistical data,the overall accuracy is 91.18%,and the spatial matching accuracy is 93.33%compared with the sampling points in the field survey.The potential productivity of winter wheat is between 4238 and 10774 kg/hm~2.Figure17;Table13;Reference105.
