Honey is rich in nutrients and has a wide range of health benefits.The nutritional value of honey differs greatly depending on the variety and origin.The black bee linden honey from the northeast is mainly produced in the Raohe region of Heilongjiang Province.The honey of this variety is of good quality and is a national geographical indication product.In the market,the phenomenon of adulteration and falsification of the black bee tree linden honey is very serious.Therefore,the establishment of an analytical technique to identify the varieties and origins of linden honey is of great significance to ensure the authenticity and safety of the food.A total of 291 honey samples from 5 species of linden tree honey,vitex honey,huaihua honey,rape honey,and jujube honey were collected from 11 provinces and cities across the country.291 honeys were measured by mid-infrared spectroscopy in the wave number range of 909-5000 cm-1.The absorbance values of 291 FTIR spectra were preprocessed by a combination of smoothing and standard normal transformation into a 291×1052 matrix,which was subjected to Principal Component Analysis(PCA)to obtain 23 new variables.According to the PCA data,PLS-DA was used to establish the Linden tree honey varieties identification model.The model was validated with 73 prediction set honey samples.The overall prediction ability of the model was 97.26%,proved that mid-infrared spectroscopy can effectively identify linden tree honey in five varieties,but it cannot distinguish other varieties of honey.A total of 97 linden tree honey samples were collected from Raohe in Heilongjiang,Jilin and Shenyang provinces.The 13 isotope ratios of B,Sr and Pb of these linden tree honeys were detected by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS),and were converted into 4 new variables by PCA.PLS-DA was used to establish the identification model of linden honey habitat in Raohe black bee based on PCA data.The model was validated with 24 prediction set honey samples.The overall predictive power of the model is 95.7%,which proves that ICP-MS can effectively identify Raohe black bee honey in the three producing areas of linden tree honey by measuring the isotope ratio,but it can not distinguish linden honey from other origins.
