Investigation And Prevention And Control Technology Of Blueberry Diseases And Insect Pests In Dandong

The climate and soil conditions in Dandong area are suitable for the growth of blueberry.In this paper,the investigation and control methods of blueberry diseases and insect pests in Dandong area are taken as the main research objects.Based on the field investigation and research in the main agricultural producing areas of Dandong,the related data of blueberry industry survey and statistics in Dandong city are fully utilized to study the types and control methods of blueberry diseases and insect pests and other diseases in Dandong area,and to popularize and apply them.The summary is as follow:1.There are 16 species of blueberries in Dandong,including Northland,Bluecrop,Blomidon,Elliott,Bluetta,Lateblue,Duke,Reka,Northblue,Bluegold,Darrow,Earliblue,Chippewa,Brigitta.2.There are 23 species of blueberry insects in Dandong,including 3 kinds of beneficial insects(Harmonia axyridis,Chrysoperla sinica,Episyrphus balteatus)and 20 kinds of pests(Aphis gossypii,Aphis citricola,Agrotis ypsilon Rottemberg,Holotrichia oblita,Anomala corpulenta,Culcula panterinaria,Lymantria dispa,Malacosoma neustria testacea,Aspongopus chinensis,Popillia quadriuttata,Myzus persicae,Drosophila melanogaster,Monolepta hieroglyphica,Mimela splendens,Oxycetonia jucunda,Hyphantria cunea,Cnidocampa flavescens,Parasa consocia,Trialeurodes vaporariorum and Zeuzera coffeac).There are also 4 kinds of diseases,as well as bird trouble and frost.3.It is concluded that 10% phoxim granules and 3% chlorpyrifos granules can be sprayed on the whole garden from late April to early May in Dandong area every year.With the application of 45% phoxim,40% chlorpyrifos emulsifiable oil and 20% imidacloprid solution,the disease of scarab larvae can be effectively controlled.4.The prevention and cure of blueberry root cancers were tested.Changing soil p H value could control the disease.When 4 < p H < 5,the disease could be effectively prevented and cured.The application of Biocontrol Strain K84 was effective for the prevention of blueberry root cancers.5.Based on the investigation of Dandong for many years,this paper made specific research and summary on the prevention and control of blueberry diseases and insect pests in this area,and sorted out the health cultivation techniques of blueberry.6.The application of agro-ecological net can obviously prevent the corps from the harm of pests and weeds.It can also reduce the damage of gale,strong light and bird trouble.
