Field experiments were conducted to study the effects of panicle fertilizer application period on population quality,yield formation and nitrogen fertilizer utilization efficiency.That is application of N1 as Base Tillering Fertilizer for panicle Fertilizer,The panicle fertilizer treatments period of N2?N3?N4?N5 was base on jointing stage?panicle differentiation 2 stage?panicle differentiation 4 stage?panicle differentiation 6 stage,the period of application was no fertilization at jointing stage respectively,N6 was completely unfertilized.The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum application period of panicle fertilizer for hybrid rice,and to provide theoretical basis and scientific and technological support for high yield cultivation of hybrid rice.The main results of study was as follows:1.The yield of the two varieties increased first and then decreased with the delay of the application period of panicle fertilizer.Under N3 treatment,the yield was the highest yield,the yield of Y Liang You 900 under N3 treatment to N1?N2?N4?N5was increase production7.59%?9.57%?5.45%?5.45%?6.41% respectively,and the yield of Y Liang You 6 hao under N3 treatment to N1?N2?N4?N5 was increase production7.59%?3.57%?5.45%?5.45%?5.45%?6.41% respectively,which indicated that the best application period of panicle fertilizer for hybrid rice was at the stage of young panicle differentiation.2.The maximum number of seedlings decreased with the delay of the application of panicle fertilizer.percentage of earbearing tiller increases with the delay in the application of panicle.The highest number of seedlings and the lowest panicle rate were obtained under N2 treatment.The application of panicle fertilizer could significantly increase the leaf SPAD value,leaf area index,photosynthetic potential,grain to leaf ratio and so on at heading stage,and the application period of spike fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height,and N2 treatment was the highest in the two varieties.the crop growth rate of Y Liang You 900 under N3 treatment was highest,the crop growth rate of Y Liang You 6 hao under N2 treatment was highest.3.The dry matter weight accumulation of the two varieties showed the law of opening downward wave,the dry matter output of the vegetative organs was large and the transportation rate was the highest under the N3 treatment,and the nitrogen application of panicle fertilizer was beneficial to the stem and leaf sheath of the two varieties.With the increase of total nitrogen content in leaves and panicles,there were significant differences in nitrogen content and nitrogen uptake in different organs.Both nitrogen absorption and utilization efficiency were maintained at the highest or higher level under N3 or N4 treatments.Conclusions As a result,the panicle differentiation 2 stage is the best application stage of panicle fertilizer for hybrid rice,in this period,the application of panicle fertilizer increased the population indexes such as leaf SPAD value,leaf area index,photosynthetic potential,grain to leaf ratio and so on,increase dry matter accumulation,enhancement of assimilation and translocation of nutrients between vegetative organs in later stage,to promote the absorption and utilization of nitrogen fertilizer,the effect of increasing yield is most remarkable.
