In order to explore the differences in photosynthesis ability of different leaf color Chinese fir,80 strains of 11-year-old Chinese fir were selected as experimental materials,and the leaf color values,photosynthetic pigment contents,chlorophyllfluorescenceparametersandphotosynthesis parameters of each individual plant were determined.The results show:The leaf color of 80 Chinese fir plants can be divided into 2 categories based on the cluster analysis of the LAB model data of leaf color,in which the leaf color of one type is yellowish green while the other type is greenish blue.In the analysis of leaf photosynthetic pigment content,the chlorophyll a?Chl a?,chlorophyll b?Chl b?,Chl a+b and carotenoid?Car?leaves contents of Chinese fir were significantly different.Chl a/Chl b and Chl a+b/Car content of both leaf color types there were no significant difference.In the analysis of leaf chlorophyll fluorescence parameters,there were extremely significant differences in the maximum PSII photon yield(QY<sub>max,Fv/Fm),steady-state non-photochemical quenching(NPQ<sub>Lss),steady-state photochemical quenching coefficient(qN<sub>Lss)performance parameters of two leaf color types of Chinese fir leaves and there was no significant difference between the maximum fluorescence parameter?Fm?and the fluorescence reduction ratio(Rfd<sub>Lss).The analysis on leaf photosynthesis parameters shows that there were significant differences in net photosynthetic rate?Pn?and intercellular carbon dioxide concentration?Ci?between two leaf color types of Chinese fir leaves,and there was no significant difference in stomatal conductance?Gs?and transpiration rate?Tr?.The results of typical correlation analysis showed that there was a correlation between leaf color values and photosynthetic pigment contents,chlorophyll fluorescence parameters and photosynthesis parameters.The above results have certain significance for clarifying the correlation between leaf color and photosynthesis ability of Chinese fir,and can provide a certain research basis for the future breeding of high-efficiency Chinese fir excellent germplasm resources.
