Maize(Zea mays L.)is an important food,feed and industrial raw material,and plays an important role in China’s national economy.The development mutation of maize cob will change the size of ear,number of ear row and number of grain row etc.In previous study,we isolated from bred normal maize inbred lines agriculture results from a natural mutation,stable homozygous mutant inflorescence meristem development-9 lb030 fea * and preliminary identification results show that the character expression and form has now been reported most mutant inflorescence meristem development,while on the part of the phenotypic like fea2,fea3,and td1 genes,but many of the characters,and is different from the fea2 fea3 and td1 genes,it is necessary to carry out in-depth research on it.Through the analysis of mutant phenotypes,the mutation genetic analysis and preliminary positioning,in order to position the mutation preliminary into a period of chromosome interval,for realizing the fine mapping and cloning of genes laid a foundation.The main results obtained are as follows:1.The traits of the mutant fea*-9lb030 were as follows: the traits of the mutant were different from those of the currently reported maize inflorescence meristem development mutant.Its main characters are: in the upper part of the female inflorescences normally developed in the ear lineOften scattered with additional incomplete panicle row,the number of panicle row more and irregular,resulting in the top of female inflorescence flat and wide.The upper inflorescences of the main shaft and branches of the male spikelets are larger than those of the wild typePolypanicle and polyfloret phenomenon occurred.2,this research adopts the sequencing method of BSA-seq BC5F2 groups of corn resistant extreme character of materials to build 30 + 30 mix pool,sequencing,and mixing pool testing between parent and offspring mix pool between SNPS(single nucleotide polymorphisms,SNPS),InDel(insertion,deletion,InDel)such as mutation loci,and character is closely related to molecular markers,SNPS and InDel intersection results: For SNPS associated with InDel area intersection of intersection,a combined three traits related candidate regions,the total length of 18.45 Mb,annotation to the gene 1919,associated area of non-synonymous mutation SNP loci of 441,111 frameshift mutations.3.It was further verified that the mutant fea*-9lb030 was controlled by a pair of recessive genes in the context of R18 of the common maize inbred line.The separation ratio of mutant and wild type in offspring BC5F2 generation was 1:3.4,gene mapping preliminary results show that based on the results of the heavy sequencing BSA-seq analysis,combined with SSR marker positioning group verification analysis,determine the corn mutant gene fea *-9 lb030 located at 48-53 maize genome chromosome 1 MB 5 MB between genetic range.
