In recent years, the aquaculture industry has been rapidly transforming into a factory-based and high-density aquaculture mode. The increasing production of aquaculture is accompanied by the deterioration of water quality. The deterioration of water quality not only leads to environmental pollution but also causes the stunting of breeding objects and even large-scale death. Therefore,it is imperative to strengthen the multi-parameter monitoring of aquaculture water. At present, the commonly used monitoring technology of water quality includes portable water quality detector, online water quality analyzer, and water quality monitoring system based on wireless sensor network. However, there are too many detection points in aquaculture plants, causing the problem of much manual labor or high cost of detection equipment in existing monitoring technology. In order to solve the above problems,a multi-parameter monitoring system of water quality for the aquaculture industry was developed in this paper.By using the combination of automatic traveling car and multi-parameter water quality testing equipment, the detection tasks of pH value, temperature, dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, and nitrite nitrogen concentration in aquaculture ponds were accomplished with only one set of testing equipment. The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the road environment characteristics of aquaculture factories,a visual route navigation method of traveling trolley is designed. In the process of image processing,a "Connected Region Feature Screening and Noise Reduction Method" is proposed to eliminate the interference of water stains on the road surface. In the detection of guided trajectory, the existing centerline search algorithm is improved to extract more reliable trolley control variables;(2)In the process of water sample collection,a new method of filtering and noise reduction based on connected area features is proposed. The spatial distance between water quality detection equipment and aquaculture pond will lead to the difficulty of water sample collection. In view of this problem,a new method of water sample collection is proposed. This method overcomes the environmental differences of each aquaculture pond and improves the robustness of the detection system.(3)Water sample collection, sensor detection, absorbance detection, visual navigation, and traveling trolley are completed in the multi-parameter field detection device of water quality. The design of related software and hardware.(4)The remote monitoring software of PC is designed from three aspects of system function, database, and network communication.it can realize a real-time display on multi-parameters of water quality, user management, data storage, and historical query; On the experimental platform of aquaculture-oriented multi-parameter water quality monitoring system, the navigation experiment of traveling car,the precision and repeatability experiment of multi-parameter water quality detection and the precision experiment of micro-injection pump dosing were carried out to verify the practicability and reliability of the system. The experimental results show that the visual navigation performance of the traveling car designed in this paper achieves the expected effect;the multi-parameter water quality detection device can detect five kinds of water quality parameters with low detection error, and the relative errors of pH value, temperature and dissolved oxygen are less than 0.004,0.016 and 0.045,respectively.The difference between the results of ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen detection and those of DR900 detector is 0.03mg/L and less than 0.002mg/L.Therefore,the monitoring system can meet the needs of aquaculture.
