Lactic acid bacteria are not only used for the preservation of food and feed fermentation, but also a member of the animal digestive flora, which play an important role in maintaining balance of the gastrointestinal flora of animals.Due to the geographical specificity of the distribution of fermented feed and animal digestive flora, some specific probiotic strains may isolated from different animal intestinal or animal products from different regions. Therefore, the screening and research of lactic acid bacteria as probiotics have broad market demands and application prospects. We isolated 117 strains of lactic acid bacteria from the digestive tract of beef cattle and kumiss(horse milk). After determined the antimicrobial properties(Escherichia Coli,Staphylococcus Aureus and Salmonella as indicator),susceptibility to commonly used veterinary drug, resistant ability to acid and bile salt and the adhesion ability, four species of lactic acid bacteria as potential probiotics, were identified by 16 s full-length sequencing, which were 1 strain of Lactobacillus plantarum(LP),1 strain of Lactobacillus fermentum(LF)and 2 strains of Lactobacillus delbrueckii(LD),respectively. These four selected strains were added to the whole crop corn, sweet sorghum and pennisetum sinese silage, respectively. After storage for 56 d,the effects of the selected strains on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability on different raw materials were tested. The results showed that the effect of the Lactobacillus fermentam significantly improved the aerobic stability of three kinds of raw materials,Lactobacillus delbrueckii isolated from the beef cattle digestive tract can improve the aerobic stability of corn, sorghum and pennisetumsinese silages. In conclusion, all 4 strains of lactic acid bacteria have potential to exploit as silage inoculant, and the effect of four strains of lactic acid bacteria on the production performance and immune function of cattle or sheep is worth for further investigation.
