Fopius arisanus(Sonan),is a parasitoid wasp that parasitize fruit flies as a host from egg to pupae and affectively control the Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel)in the field. In this paper, based on the original rearing techniques of parasitic wasps, the feeding cage and oviposition plates were improved in order to improve the parasitic rate and host utilization rate of parasitic wasps. The research results are as follows:1)For rearing cage with the specifications of 50×50×50 cm,the appropriate feeding densities of parasitoid wasps of 1500 pairs /cage was recommended based on the response of the parasitic rate, offspring emergence rate, offspring sexual ratio and life span at different feeding density.2)Optimal parasitic rate and offspring emergence rate of the Fopius arisanus can be obtained when oviposition plates No.II(size at length ×width × height = 17 ? ×11.5 ? ×0.5 ?)was used for breeding, host eggs could be evenly spread on the surface of the agar plate with larger egg distribution area, minor overlaps.
