Phthalanilic acid is a new plant growth regulator,but its regulation mechanism for plant growth and development is unclear,which limits the further application of the pharmaceutical.To study the mechanism of the agent,taken soybean as experimental crop,brassinolides as the contrast agent,the influence of different concentrations(133.3 mg/L,200.0 mg/L and 400 mg/L)of phthalanilic acidthrough observing the change of the photosynthesis,stress resistance,yield and fruit quality of soybean were stuidied.The effect of phthalanilic acid on the growth and development of cowpea was evaluated to provide a basis for its application.The main findings are as follows:(1)Phenylphthaleic acid can regulate the growth of soybean plants,and 400.0 mg/L phenylaminoacid treatment has the most significant effect.On the 7th,14 th and 21 st day after treatment,the relative growth rate of soybean plant height increased by 18.19%,85.71% and 104.35% compared with the blank control,and the net growth rate of stem diameter increased by 33.33%,51.51% and 22.91% respectively.The photosynthesis of soybean increased significantly during each investigation period.The net photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content of soybean leaves treated with 200.0 mg/L aniline acid increased by 10.56% and 29.60-32.28% in the early stage of podding compared with the blank control.Brassinolide has similar effects,and its regulatory effect is higher than that of phenylaminoacid.The regulatory effect of cell wake-up agent is lower than that of phenylpeptide(2)It can induce soybean to improve its stress resistance.During the determination period,CAT and POD in soybean leaves increased by 64.44%-102.13% and 23.55-54.61% respectively,and free proline content increased by 17.10%-77.80% and relative conductivity decreased by 6.80%-16.72% compared with blank control.The regulation effect of Brassinolide on stress resistance of soybean plants was higher than that of phenylphthaleic acid,and the effect of cell wake-up agent was not significant compared with that of blank control.(3)Soybean yields also increased slightly.After 200.0 mg/L treatment,compared with the control,the yield increased by 37.2%,which was higher than the blank control.In summary,aniline has obvious promoting and inducing effects on growth,development and stress resistance of pepper.As an efficient and new plant growth regulator,phenylaminoacid has good application prospects in production practice.
