| As a common substrate,cocopeat has been widely used in soilless cultivation,and its water content characteristics have a direct and important impact on irrigation.However,there is no uniform and standard detection method for the moisture content and water migration of cocopeat,and there is no special detection system to detect the above characteristics and laws.Therefore,it has important practical significance that clarify the water content characteristics of cocopeat and design a special moisture detection system for the application of cocopeat.The common size and porosity of cocopeat substrate on the market are quite different,and resulting in some differences in their moisture content characteristics.In this paper,the cocopeat bulk density of different particle sizes were measured by the standard ring cutter method and the definition method.Then the wilting moisture content and the saturated water content were measured,then the basic moisture characteristics of different size cocopeat substrate were obtained.Then a cocopeat water moisture detection system was constructed,and the soil moisture sensor was calibrated to enable it to be accurately applied to the detection of cocopeat moisture,and the sensors detection array were designed to monitor the moisture content at different depths and horizontal positions in the substrate.The corresponding hardware and software systems were built and tested.Finally,according to the data obtained by the detection system,the water migration laws of cocopeat with different particle sizes were analyzed from vertical infiltration and horizontal diffusion under the different drip rate of drip irrigation environment,respectively.The relationship between vertical and horizontal water migration was directions.The test results shown that the bulk density,which the cocopeat granules<1mm,is about 0.100g/cm~3,the saturated volumetric moisture content is about 77.0%,the wilting volume moisture content is about 1.37%;the bulk density,which the cocopeat granules>1mm,is about 0.065 g/cm~3,the saturated volumetric moisture content is about25.2%,and the wilting volume moisture content is about 1.27%.In the cocopeat,the vertical infiltration rate decays in a power function under the condition of unsaturated water,and the coefficient changes with cocopeat bulk density;in the small particle size cocopeat,the horizontal water diffusion rate is positively correlated with the drip irrigation rate,and the large particle size cocopeat is at various deceleration rates.There is no significant difference in the horizontal water diffusion rate under the conditions,indicating that the water migration is mainly affected by gravity.The sensors array detection system constructed in this paper can effectively detect the water migration law in cocopeat and use the obtained water migration law to guide the irrigation method and irrigation strategy to achieve the purpose of saving water resources and improving water resource utilization.Provides a strong scientific basis and technical support for precision irrigation. |
