Effects Of Dietary Soluble Fiber And Probiotics On Growth Performance,nitrogen Emissions And Intestinal Microflora Of Finishing Pigs | | Posted on:2021-01-30 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Q Bai | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2393330602471047 | Subject:Breeding | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The purpose of this experiment is to study the effects of dietary soluble fiber and probiotics on growth performance,fecal ammonia nitrogen emission and fecal microbial diversity of finishing pigs.This experiment adopted 2 × 2 test design,one factor was the level of soluble fiber in the diet(1.2% and 2.4%),the other factor was probiotics(0% and 0.05%).Selecting ninety-six finishing pigs with similar weights(71.47±2.52kg).They were randomly divided into four groups,four replicated in each group,six pigs per replicate.The LSDF group(low-solubility fiber group)was fed a diet containing 1.2% soluble dietary fiber,the LSDF + Pro group(low-solubility fiber group probiotics with)was fed a low soluble dietary fiber diet containing 0.05% probiotics,the HSDF group(high-solubility fiber group)was fed a diet containing 2.4% soluble dietary fiber,and the HSDF + Pro group(high-solubility fiber probiotics group)was fed a high soluble dietary fiber diet containing 0.05% probiotics.The pre-test period was 3 days,and the test period was 35 days.Measuring the serum biochemical indexes of pigs on 21 th days and 35 th days.Measuring the content of nitrogen emission related indexes(ammonia nitrogen,urea nitrogen,urease)of pigs on 21 th days and 35 th days.Measuring the fecal microbial diversity of pigs on 35 th days.The results showed that:1)Increasing the level of dietary fiber and adding probiotics can significantly increase the daily weight gain and feed intake of finishing pigs(P <0.05);Increasing the level of dietary soluble dietary fiber do not affect the production performance of experimental pigs;probiotics can significant increase the daily intake of finishing pigs(P<0.05);Adding probiotics to the diet also has a trend to increase the daily weight gain(0.05<P<0.1)..2)On the 35 th day of the experimental period,increasing the level of dietary soluble fiber and adding probiotics could significantly reduce the serum cholesterol of finishing pigs(P<0.05).3)Increasing the level of dietary fiber and adding probiotics can significantly reduce urine pH(P<0.05)at 21 th day of the experimental period and faeces pH(P<0.05)at 35 th day of the experimental period.Increasing the level of dietary fiber can significantly reduce urine pH(P<0.05)at 21 th day of the experimental period and had a trend to reduce faeces pH(P<0.05)at 35 th day of the experimental period.Compared with the low fiber group,increasing the level of dietary soluble dietary fiber and adding probiotics decreased the urease activity(P> 0.05)4)Dietary soluble dietary fiber could significantly increase the fecal abundance of Ruminococcus(P<0.05),dietary soluble dietary fiber could increase the fecal abundance of Lachnospiracea,Prevotella and Bacteroides(P>0.05);probiotics could significantly increase the fecal abundance of Lactobacillus(P<0.05)and significantly reduce the fecal abundance of Escherichia_Shigella(P<0.05).By the above research results showed that,probiotics and increased dietary fiber levels can significantly improved the growth performance of finishing pigs,reduced urease activity of finishing pigs,significantly lower pH in feces and urine,and effectively inhibit ammonia emissions,Both dietary fiber and probiotics could improve the intestinal microbial environment. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | dietary fiber, probiotics, finishing pigs, growth performance, nitrogen emission, microbial diversity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
