Experiment 1:180 healthy DLY boars(initial weight is 8.86±0.03kg)were selected and divided into three treatment groups according to a completely randomized block design.Basic diet(control group),antibiotic diet(basic diet+0.750g/kg chlortetracycline)and XOS diet(basic diet+0.500g/kg XOS)were fed separately.The treatment had 4 replicates(pens),each with 15 pigs.The whole test was 28d,and each pen was weighed at the initial weight of BW0,14d BW14,and 28d BW28.Blood collection were on the 14d and 28d.Result showed:XOS significantly improved ADG and ADF of weaning piglets 15-28d(P<0.05);During1-28d,both XOS and antibiotics significantly increased ADG in weaned piglets,and antibiotics significantly reduced F:G(P<0.05);In addition,antibiotics significantly reduced blood MDA concentrations,increased T-SOD and GSH-PX concentrations in blood,and XOS significantly increased blood CAT and GSH-PX concentrations(P<0.05);Besides,on28d,XOS and antibiotics significantly increased blood CAT concentration(P<0.05).Experiment 2:18 healthy DLY boars(initial body weight:15.02±1.14 kg)were selected and divided into three treatment groups according to a completely randomized block design(refer to test one)and each group consisted of 6 pigs.The trial included a 10-day pre-feeding period and a 4-day stool collection period.Results showed that:XOS had no significant effect on the diarrhea rate of piglets(P>0.10).Both antibiotics treatments and XOS treatment had a higher calcium absorption in piglets(P<0.05),and XOS had an increased trend in phosphorus absorption in piglets(P>0.05).Experiment 3:This experiment detected the morphology of small intestine of piglet from experiment 1 and fecal microorganisms from experiment 2 and we used 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing technology to analyze the structure of fecal microbial flora.The results showed that antibiotics significantly increased the ileum villi height and villi-crypt ratio(P<0.05);Antibiotics reduced the fecal microbial diversity to a certain extent,and XOS changed the fecal microbial function to a certain extent;XOS increased the abundance of Lactobacillus,and reduced the harmful bacteria such as Lachnospiraceae,Rikenellaceae,and improve the microbial flora structure to a certain extent.
