Helicoverpa armigera Hubner.Mythimna separate Walker,Athetis lepigone Moschler.Anomala corpulenta Motschulsky and Holotrichia parollela Motschulsky are important agricultural pests in China. In 2017.the trapping effects of four wavelengths,i.e.,375 nm,385nm,395nm,and 405nm,on five adult pests were studied. Finally, the trapping effect of 385nm,395 nm and black light lamp(as control.365±50 nm)on five adult pests was studied in Xinxiang,Henan,in 2019.At the same time, the activity rhythm of five adult pests during night-times was clarified. The main findings are as follows(1)In 2017,there were no significant difference in the trapping effect of the four tested wavelengths on H.armigera adults in Xinxiang of Henan. In Anci of Hebei, the total number of H.armigera adults trapped by LED lights at 385nm was still the highest, but there were no significant differences from 405 nm.In 2018,the attractiveness of 385 nm and 395 nm to male and female H.armigera adults was significantly higher than 375 nm and 405 nm in the laboratory. In 2019,the trapping effect of 385 nm LED lights on H.armigera adults is significantly higher than that of 395 nm LED lights and black light lamps, and the peak of trapping H.armigera adults on 385 nm LED lights and black light lamps is 20:00-22:00.(2)In Xinxiang of Henan, and Langfang of Hebei, there were the highest at the total number of M.separate adults trapped by LEDs with 385 nm in 2017.In 2019.the trapping effect of 385 nm LED lights on M.separate adults is significantly higher than that of 395 nm LED lights and black light lamps, and the trapping peaks of M.separate adults on 385nm LED lights and black light lamps is 22:00-24:00.(3)In 2017,the trapping effects of 385 nm.395 nm,and 405 nm on A.lepigone adults were significantly higher than 375 nm in Xinxiang of Henan. In 2019,the trapping effect of the 385 nm LED light on A.lepigone adults was significantly higher than that of 395 nm LED light, and the peak of the 385 nm LED light and black light on A.lepigone adults is 20:00-22:00.(4)In Xinxiang of Henan, the number of LED light traps at 395nm was the highest in 2017,but there were no significant differences with 385 nm.In Langfang of Hebei, the 385 nm LED light had the best trapping effect on A.corpulenta adults in 2017.The trapping effect of 385 nm LED lights in 2019 were significantly higher than that of 395 nm LED lights, and the peak of trapping A.corpulenta adults on 385 nm LED lights and black light lamps is between 20:00-22:00.In 2017,in Xinxiang of Henan, the total number of 395 nm LED lights trapped H.parallela adults were the most, but there were no significant differences with 385 nm or 405 nm.In 2017,385 nm LED lights trapped the target pests significantly higher than the other three wavelengths. In 2019.the trapping effect of 385 nm LED lights on H.parallela adults is significantly higher than that of 395 nm LED light, and the peak of trapping H.parallela adults on 385 nm LED light and black light lamps is 20:00-22:00.The above research clearly clarified the wavelengths with the best trapping effect for H.armigera,M.separate,A.lepigone,A.corpulenta and H.parallela,as well as the rhythm of night activities, and provided important theoretical and technical support for the development of a single-wavelength adult light trapping technology.
