| Duck tambusu virus disease,Newcastle disease and avian influenza are the mostnotable diseases that harm ducks.Wuhu County and the adjacent areas have a long history of extensive scale duck breeding.Most breeders in Wuhu County use traditional pondstocking,whereas,in the hilly areas adjacent to Wuhu,bed stocking is dominantlyimplemented.In this study we carried out antibody levels detection of duck tambusu virus disease,avian influenza virus and Newcastle disease virus.The purpose of the study was to seek scientific references for due prevention and control of the aforementioned diseases.Hence,479 duck serum samples were collected in four batches representing the four seasons of a year.450 Cherry Valley Duck and 29 random samples were collected in Liu xx slaughterhouse and Chengnan vegetable market,respectively.The positive rate of antibodies to duck tambusu virus was learnt using Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay(ELISA)serological detection method making use of NS1 protein of duck tambusu virus as coating antigen.Hemagglutination inhibition test was used to detect the qualification rate of four antibodies against Newcastle disease and avian influenza virus(H5,H7,H9).The dataset was sorted out,summarized compared,and processed using SPSS software.The rate of duck tambusu virus infection and the antibody immunity of Newcastle disease and avian influenza in Wuhu County and its adjacent areas were comprehensively analyzed coupled with supportive understandings of vaccine supplies,sales,procedures etc.The results revealed that:1.The average qualified rate/positive rate of 479 samples was DTMUV positive rate of 53.30%;AIVH7,NDV,AIVH and AIVH9 HI titer≥4log2qualified samples accounting for 20.46%(98/479),6.47%(31/479),3.55%(17/479)and0.63%(3/479)respectively.2.The qualified rate/positive rate of five antibodies in all seasons of the year was(1)the qualified rate of AIV H5 antibody:0%in summer,0.90%in autumn,7.32%in winter and 5.60%in spring of 2018;(2)the qualified rate of AIVH7antibody:5.79%in summer,8.18%in autumn,21.95%in winter and 44%in spring of2018.There was significant difference in the qualified rate of AIVH7 antibody among the four seasons of the whole year(x~2=28.967,p=0.000,<0.05)(3)Four season antibody qualification rate of AIV H9:0%in summer,0.9%in autumn,0.81%in winter and 0%in spring of 2019;(4)four season antibody qualification rate of NDV:0%in summer,16.53%in autumn,2.44%in winter and 4.00%in spring of 2018.There was a significant difference in the qualified rate of NDV antibody among the four seasons of the whole year(x~2=37.143,p=0.000,<0.05);(5)the four seasons antibody positive rate of DTV:62.81%in summer,42.73%in autumn,43.09%in winter and 62.40%in spring of 2018.There was a significant difference in the positive rate of antibody between the four seasons of the year(x~2=14.726,p=0.02,<0.05).The results showed that the percentage of HI titer≥4log2effectively protected by AIVH7,AIVH5,AIVH9 and NDV was lower,and the percentage of HI titer≥4log2 increased quarter by quarter.On the whole,the qualification rate of avian influenza and Newcastle disease immunization did not meet 70%of the qualification standard for poultry stocks stipulated by the Ministry of agriculture.Hence,the infection rate of duck Tembusu virus was high.In this study through the detection of Newcastle disease,avian influenza and duck serum antibody in Wuhu County and its adjacent areas,the immune effect of Newcastle disease and avian influenza and the positive rate of duck tambusu virus infection were basically identified,providing scientific reference data for further prevention and control. |
