With the rapid development of computer technology and Internet of Things technology,the impact of irrigation technology on crop growth and water resource utilization in modern agriculture is becoming more and more obvious.The application of automatic control technology in farmland irrigation has become the inevitable realization of irrigation district informationization and irrigation automation development trend.At present,irrigation water technology in various reclamation areas in southern Xinjiang is still difficult to meet the demand for precision water,precision irrigation and precise control of contemporary irrigation water.Therefore,this paper designs a water-saving and efficient automatic irrigation system to solve the problem of local agricultural irrigation and water saving in southern Xinjiang.This paper completed the design of automatic irrigation system based on LORA wireless communication technology,and proposed a new method of time series prediction.The soil moisture and farmland irrigation water demand were modeled,and the farmland irrigation decision model was established.The system uses the embedded microprocessor STM32 as the hardware core design,featuring stable performance,accurate measurement and real-time observation of data changes,and remote control of automatic irrigation.The STM32 hardware and software design was realized,the upper computer was written and debugged,and the physical map and the joint test between the above were produced.Compared with the existing irrigation system,the main features of this design are reflected in the following aspects:accurate decision making for agricultural irrigation water,remote control monitoring on the computer side,long-distance low-power wireless communication,etc.It has the advantages of low power consumption,high precision,easy to use,and easy maintenance.It can basically meet the complex needs of irrigation water in farmland in southern Xinjiang.The system has realized the functions of automatic irrigation of crops,efficient water saving,precise irrigation decision-making and remote control in the demonstration of the 46th Regiment of the Third Division of the Southern Xinjiang Corps;it can save water resources and increase the yield and quality of crops.The system has certain reference value for the future agricultural irrigation informationization and automation development in southern Xinjiang.
