The branches cut from apple tree are the most common organic waste in apple planting.At present,how to apply fertilizer scientifically,maintain soil fertility and increase apple yield and quality is an urgent problem to be solved in apple planting.The apple waste branches are loose texture and breathability.They are also rich in nutrient elements for fruit trees.If it can be scientifically and rationally returned to the field,the apple waste branches will play an important role in fertilizing the soil and promoting apple yield.In this paper,the 22 years old and 4 years old Fuji apples(Malus domestica Borkh.cv Fuji)were taken as the research materials,referring to local actual production conditions.Comparison of Contrast treatment with Apple Waste Branches be decomposed Application(AF).The growth indexes of young and mature trees,the yield and quality of apples,and the soil nutrient status were investigated.The results are as follows:(1)After one year of decomposition in soil,the underground part of branches has been in a semi-decomposition state.The lower part of the soil and the thinner branches are fermented relatively thoroughly,After two summers of decomposition in soil,the underground part of branch bundles has been basically decomposed.Compared with the soil before the experiment,apple waste branches be decomposed fertilization can effectively increase the content of soil organic matter and main nutrients.(2)Apple waste branches be decomposed application can significantly promote the growth and development of young Fuji apple trees.For 3 year old apple trees,The amplification in Increment of trunk girth in a year,Length of new shoot,Diameter of new shoot,Leaves number,Leaves area,Leaf thick and Leaf weight are higher than Contrast treatment,which reached 44.36%,10.89%,11.15%,14.60%,11.21%,10.24% and 23.04%.For 4 year old apple trees,The amplification in increment of trunk girth in a year are higher than Contrast treatment,which reached 35.14%.(3)Waste branches be decomposed application could effectively promote the Fuji apple nitrogen index in new shoot leaves and sprouting ability.Apple waste branches be decomposed application could effectively promote root growth of young apple trees,and the average distribution depth was higher than that of Contrast treatment.(4)Apple waste branches be decomposed application can improve the yield and quality of Fuji apple orchard.The yield per mu of 20-year-old apple trees with apple waste branches be decomposed application was 3741.5 Kg,which was 17.44% higher than that of Contrast treatment respectively.The yield difference of young orchards with different treatments was greater at the beginning of the 4th year Young orchard.Young orchards differ more in yield,which was 29.52% higher than that of Contrast treatment respectively.In terms of soluble solid content,solid acid ratio and firmness,the contribution of combined application of apple waste branches and microbial fertilize to apple quality was better than that of contrast treatment.
