A 28 day feeding trail was conducted to evaluate the effects of Compound Chinese herbs and Curcumin supplementation on growth performance,digestive enzyme activities,immunologic enzyme acitivities and WSSV resistant capacity of Litopenaeus vannamei.The results showed as follows:1.The growth performance in experimental groups were significantly higher than that of the control group?p<0.05?,and the 0.8%and 1.2%supplemental groups showed the best result?p<0.05?.The high activities of Digestive enzyme and immune enzyme of Litopenaeus vannamei were located in high supplemental groups,and with the time went by they were located in little supplemental groups,and the 0.8%and 1.2%supplemental groups showed the best result finally?p<0.05?.2.The activities of T-SOD,AKP,ACP and GOT were firstly increased and then decreased during 0?96 h,which reached a peak during 24 h?48 h after infected by WSSV.The activities of GPT of 0.8%and 1.2%supplemental groups were kept a high level steadily during the whole experiment.After 192 h infected by WSSV,the highest survival rate?33.33%?and medial death time?150.50±48.88 h?appeared in 0.8%supplemental group,and 1.2%supplemental group closely followed?survival rate:21.33%,medial death time:127.09±28.10h?,In short,compound Chinese herbs can promote immunity performance and WSSV-resist ability of Litopenaeus vannamei among which 0.8%and 1.2%supplemental groups indicated the best results.3.The curcumin can significantly improve growth performance of Litopenaeus vannamei,and compared with control group,the final overall length,body weight,WGR,SGR,FCR and FR of experimental groups were significantly increased?p<0.05?,and the 0.03%and 0.04%supplemental groups showed the best result?p<0.05?.The activities of digestive enzyme?amylase,LPS?increased firstly and then decreased with the time went by,and the highest value appeared in 7th day.The activity of amylase and LPS of 0.03%supplemental group was significantly higher than other groups during 0?7 d?p<0.05?,while 0.04%supplemental group was significantly higher than other groups during 14?28 d?p<0.05?.Although the activity of protease showed the different rule of above,the activity of control group was lower than others.The activities of T-AOC and ACP increased firstly and then decreased with the time went by and the highest value appeared on 7th day.The activity of T-AOC and ACP in 0.04%supplemental group was significantly higher than other groups during 14?28 d?p<0.05?;The activity of T-SOD of 0.04%supplemental group was significantly higher than other groups during 21?28 d?p<0.05?;The activity of GPT and GOT of 0.02%and 0.03%supplemental groups was higher than other groups during 1?7 d,and then the activity of GPT and GOT in0.03%and 0.04%supplemental groups was significantly higher than other groups during 15?28d;The activity of AKP of 0.05%supplemental group was significantly higher than other groups during 1?7 d,while with the time went by they were located in low supplemental groups,and the0.04%supplemental group showed the best result while 0.03%supplemental group secondly followed during 21?28 d.In summary,curcumin can promote the grouth performance and digestive enzyme activities,regulate the immune capacity of Litopenaeus vannamei,but influenced by feed time and supplemental dosage.The recommended level of Curcumin in Litopenaeus vannamei diets is 0.03%and 0.04%under this experimental condition.4.A 28-day feeding and WSSV infecting trail was conducted to showed the effects of curcumin supplementation on related immune enzyme?T-AOC,T-SOD,AKP,ACP,GPT,GOT?of Litopenaeus vannamei,and the activities of it were firstly increased and then decreased,which reached a peak during 24 h?48 h,and 0.04%supplemental group showed the best result?p<0.05?.In addition,the content of MDA was increasing and the control group showed the highest result,while 0.04%supplemental was lowest.The results showed that there were different time of death crest and value number in different supplemental level of Curcumin.Howerver,100%dead rate,two death crests?which the first one showed the earliest time and largest value of the crest?appeared in control group.There was a certain survival rate in each experimental group,which was significantly higher than the control group.After 192 h infected by WSSV,the time of first death of experimental groups was5 h longer than control group,and the highest survival rate?14.667%?,the medial death time?113.333±11.547 h?,the slowest decline in mortality,the latest time of death crest?120 h?,the lower vlue of number of crest appeared was located in 0.04%supplemental group.While 0.03%supplemental group closely followed?survival rate:9.33%,medial death time:109.333±10.066h?.In short,curcumin can promote immunity performance and WSSV-resist ability of Litopenaeus vannamei,among which 0.03%and 0.04%supplemental groups indicated best results.
