The aim of the research was to study the effects of four kinds of additives?crushed Enteromorpha, fermented Enteromorpha,Chinese Herbal Medicine?in dietary administration on the performance, digestion and serum biochemical indexes for the juvenile Acanthopagrus schlegeli. Each treatment had 3 replicates with 20 individuals. The culture period was 28d.The results were as follows:1.The single type additive test using single factor design1.1 Effects of fermented Enteromorpha on the juvenile A.schlegeliThe added concentration included 0%,2%,3.5%,5%,6.5%and 8%.The results showed:1)The growth performance:the weight gain?WGR?and specific growth?SGR?rate of D?2%?,D?3.5%?and D?5%?increased compared with the control group?P<0.05?.Feed conversion rate?FCR?of D?2%?and D?5%?significantly decreased?P<0.05?.2)The serum biochemical indexes:compared with the control group, the contents of the serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol?HDL-C?obviously increased?P<0.05?,and declined with low density lipoprotein cholesterol?LDL-C?,on the D?2%?,D?3.5%?and D?5%?.The total cholesterol?TC?content decreased significantly?P<0.05?.3)The nonspecific immunity:the activities of superoxide dismutase?SOD?and albumin obviously increased?P<0.05?,and alkaline phosphatase decreased significa nt ly?P<0.05?on the D?3.5%?and D?5%?.4)The digestive ferment:the intestinal amylase and lipase activity all significantly increased?P<0.05?.Intestinal trypsin activity remarkably decreased?P<0.05?.5)Compared with the control group, there was no significant difference between the nutritional components of the muscle and body in the experimental group. In conclusion, the optimum addition level was 3.5%?4.0%in diet.1.2 Effects of crushed Enteromorpha on the juvenile A.schlegeli.The added concentration included 0%,2%,3.5%,5%,6.5%and 8%.The results showed:1)The growth performance:the weight gain and specific growth rate of D?2%?,D?3.5%?and D?5%?obviously increased compared with the control group?P<0.05?.2)The serum biochemical indexes:compared with the control group, the contents of TG,TC and LDL-C significantly decreased?P<0.05?on the D?2%?and D?3.5%?,and HDL-C obviously increased?P<0.05?.3)The nonspecific immunity:the activities of SOD and AKP all decreased?P<0.05?,and the serum lysozyme and CAT significantly decreased?P<0.05?on the D?6.5%?and D?8%?.4)The digestive ferment:the activity of the intestinal amylase significantly was improved?P<0.05?on the D?2%?and D?3.5%?,and the intestinal lipase obviously increased on 5%?8%.The intestinal trypsin had dropped significantly?P<0.05?at the 2%and 5%?8%.In conclusion, the optimum addition level was 2%?4.07%in diet.1.3 The compound Chinese Herbal MedicineThe added concentration included 0%,0.4%,0.8%,1.2%,1.6%and 2%.The results showed:1)The growth performance:the WGR and SGR on the D?0.4%??P<0.05?,D?0.8%??P>0.05?and D?1.2%??P>0.05?increased compared with that of the control group. The feed conversion rate significantly decreased?P<0.05?.2)The serum biochemical indexes:compared with the control group, the content of TC and LDL-C in the supplemental groups obviously decreased?P<0.05?,and TG significantly decreased?P<0.05?in 1.6%?2%.The HDL-C remarkably decreased?P<0.05?in 0.4%.3)The nonspecific immunity:the activity of SOD and CAT obviously increased?P<0.05?in 0.4%?1.6%,and the activity of lysozyme increased?P>0.05?in 0.8%?1.6%.4)The digestive ferment:the activity of intestinal amylase, lipase and trypsin significantly increased?P<0.05?.In short, the optimum addition level was 0.8%?1.27%in diet.2.The orthogonal design?L9?34??was used to the study of combinatorial addition. The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of combination additive?crushed Enteromorpha, fermented Enteromorpha,Chinese Herbal Medicine?on the performance and serum biochemical indexes of the juvenile A.schlegeli.The results were as follows:Compared with control group, the WGR obviously increased?P<0.05?.There was a downward trend of blood lipids in the experimental group.TG remarkably decreased?P<0.05?on D1 and D2,and TC was significantly reduced?P<0.05?.The albumin of D1?D6?D7 and D9,obviously increased?P<0.05?compared with that of the control group. The activity of SOD in D1?D5?D7 and D9 increased?P>0.05?,while there was no significantly difference. The intestina l lipase and the intestinal trypsin in D6?D7 and D9,and the intestinal amylase in D1?D3 and D4,obviously increased?P<0.05?.In summary, the optimum addition level was 2.5%?Fermented Enteromorpha?,0.6%?1%?Chinese Herbal Medicine?,5%?Crushed Enteromorpha?in diet.
