In view of the large demand for seed potatoes,the heavy workload of manual seed cutting,the high labor intensity and the low efficiency of seed cutting,on the basis of adapting to the planting mode and meeting the requirements of Agronomy,a kind of directional arrangement vertical and horizontal division seed potato cutter is developed,which can simultaneously complete the seed potato cleaning and impurity removal,size separation,seed potato directional arrangement,cutting block,sterilization and disinfection of the potato block,seed chip cleaning and potato collection Transportation and other tasks.The key parts of seed potato cutter include seed potato sorting device,directional arrangement device,longitudinal cutting device and transverse cutting device.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The biomechanical properties of Holland 15 and Yanshu 4 potatoes were studied.The shear and compression mechanical properties of seed potato were measured by electronic universal testing machine,which can provide theoretical reference for the optimal design of seed potato cutter.(2)The overall scheme design and the design and principle analysis of the key components of the seed potato cutter are carried out to determine the design scheme of the key components of the seed potato cutter.The key components are modeled by Solidworks 2018,and the structural parameters and working parameters of the key components are determined.(3)The finite element analysis and kinematics simulation of the key parts of seed potato cutter.Static and modal analysis of disc cutter and cutter shaft with ANSYS Workbench software.The results of the static analysis show that the deformation of the key components is small and the strength is enough to meet the design requirements;the modal analysis results show that the system excitation frequency is far less than the natural frequency of the key components and the operation stability is better;the orientation arrangement process of potato seed potatoes is advanced by using ADAMS/view 2013 software The results of kinematic simulation show that the arrangement effect of seed potato is better when the rotation speed of roller is in the range of 25 ? 35 r / min.(4)The prototype of seed potato cutter was tested.Taking the speed of the middle motor ?,the center distance between the upper and lower rubber rolls and the installation angle of the potato knife comb as the test factors,and the qualification rate,the blind eye rate and the loss rate of the potato chips as the test indexes,the response surface test was carried out.The test data were analyzed with the design expert 8.0.6 software,and the correlation and interaction law between the performance of the potato chips and the influencing factors were explored The optimal combination of parameters is as follows: the rotating speed of middle motor II is 965.76r/min,the center distance between upper and lower rubber rolls is 315.00 mm,the installation angle of potato knife comb is 104.61 °,the qualified rate of potato block is 94.86%,the blind rate of potato block is 1.84%,the loss rate of seed potato is 9.72%,and the verification test is carried out under this condition.The test shows that the qualified rate of potato block is 92.13%,the blind rate of potato block is 1.91%,and the loss rate of seed potato is 1.91% The rate is 10.21%.Compared with the optimized value,the relative errors of qualified rate,blind rate and loss rate are all less than 5%,which meet the requirements of seed tuber cutting.
