Wisdom ranch management system is a Internet management platform where modern artificial intelligence analysis technology was applied to the breeding.the system use a variety of types of sensors as a network node of pasture and animals living environment information data monitoring.This system can reduce labor costs,at the same time,it can be more effective management of the pasture.This paper mainly analyzes the development status of smart pasture at home and abroad,and gives the plan of smart pasture management system,which mainly includes software and hardware design of data acquisition node,software and hardware design of data transfer station,server design,client software design and design of livestock pattern recognition algorithm.The data acquisition node includes two parts: pasture environment acquisition node and live animal data acquisition node,respectively for pasture and animals living environment information data.Pasture environment acquisition node contains micro controller module,meteorological sensor module,beidou dual-mode GPS positioning module,power supply module.Live livestock data acquisition nodes include RFID electronic ear tags and smart item rings.The design of data transfer station includes embedded module MT7688,4G mobile module,RFID card reader module,Lo Ra receiver and so on.The hardware circuit diagram and PCB layout of the system are included.Livestock wear RFID electronic ear tag that serve as individual identification.Smart ring livestock worn gathers information about their own lives.The data acquisition node sends the collected data to the server database for storage through the data transfer station,then the client download the database data for display.Client software using Visual Studio to write and design,user login client software to view data from the data acquisition node displaying in real time as tables and map,and the historical data stored in the database.The potential function method in livestock pattern recognition algorithm was used to analyze the step data collected to obtain the discriminant function,and the test platform was built to train and test the livestock step samples.At the end of the paper,the function of each module of the smart pasture management system was tested.The data acquisition module and data transmission module could work normally after practical tests.The client software could receive data normally and display it.
