This article explores the effects of lactic acid bacteria preparations on calf growth performance, blood biochemical indexes and immune indexes through comparative experiments.Twenty healthy Holstein calves about one month before weaning with the same parity and similar weight were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups,a control group and a test group, with 10 animals in each group. The calves in the control group were fed the basic diet, and the calves in the experimental group were fed the basic diet containing the lactic acid bacteria preparation. The basic diet is provided by the dairy farm. The feeding and management procedures are the same as those of the dairy farm.During the test, the calves' medication and vaccination are recorded. The feeding method is to add 150 mL/head of lactic acid bacteria(water:lactic acid bacteria=50:1)in the drinking water. The first week of continuous feeding is 3 days, and the second week is used twice a week from the second week(Note:daily Can only be used once),free drinking water, the test period is 90 days.1.Record the calfs birth weight, the weight at the start of the test and the weight at the end of the test, and calculate the average daily weight gain(ADG)of the calf. The statistical results found:There was no significant difference between the average daily weight gain of the test group and the control group(P>0.05),The average daily weight gain of calves eating lactic acid bacteria preparation was 0.84 kg/head,and the average daily weight gain of control calves was 0.77 kg/head,The statistical results found:The calves fed the lactic acid bacteria preparations increased the average daily weight by 9.09%compared with the control group.2.Record the number of diarrhea days and the number of diarrhea heads, and calculate the calf diarrhea rate. The rate of diarrhea in calves fed lactic acid bacteria preparation was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Fresh manure samples of 5 calves randomly selected from the control group and the test group were collected on the 1st,30th,60th,and 90th days of the formal test, and the total number of bacteria, lactic acid bacteria and coliform bacteria in the feces were determined number.turn out:At the end of the experiment, the number of lactic acid bacteria in the calf feces sampled with lactic acid bacteria preparation reached 1.41×107CFU/g,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),while the number of coliform bacteria was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.At 1th,30th,60th,and 90th days of the formal test,10 mL of blood was collected from the jugular vein of 8 calves randomly selected from the control group and the test group before morning feeding.Immune indicators, turn out:Compared with the control group, the content of albumin, alkaline phosphatase(ALP),IgA,IgG,and IgM in the calf serum of the experimental group increased significantly.
