The frequent occurrence of forest fires threatens the life safety of forest firefighters.Forest firefighters often suffer from high-temperature shock,fainting by inhaling toxic gas,and falling injuries during the fire fighting.In order to improve the protection of forest firefighters' life safety,it is necessary to design a hazard detection and location system for forest firefighters.The system collects inertial navigation data and GNSS signals through algorithms to achieve the location function.The system also collects carbon monoxide concentration,temperature and the firefighters' foot posture information in forest fire.This information is used as a standard for hazard detection.The system realizes the function of hazard detection and location for firefighters in the forest,and provides a certain effective judgment basis for the safety officer to command the rescue.Firstly,the basic knowledge about hazard detection and location are briefly introduced in this paper.Secondly,this work focus on the location method and the hazard detection method of the system.The shoe-type inertial navigation positioning method(INS)is first introduced.It based on the ZUPT.The shoe-type pedestrian dead reckoning method(PDR)is introduced second.It based on the step counting algorithm.Using the INS method,the zero velocity moment cannot be detected sometimes.To solve the problem,setting the system switch to PDR method.The INS/PDR integrated location method is proposed third.The INS / PDR / GNSS integrated positioning method is finally proposed when GNSS signals are present.Combining GNSS signals can obtain better positioning information and can correct INS/PDR positioning results.About the hazard detection,the fuzzy reasoning and expert experience detection method are introduced in this paper.The system takes carbon monoxide and temperature as environmental parameters,acceleration and attitude value as motion parameters.It uses environment parameters and motion parameters as input,and risk detection parameters as output.In this work,the research contents include attitude calculation,analysis of pedestrian walking gait,ZUPT,Step counting algorithm,analysis of GNSS position information,complementary filtering,kalman filtering,integrated navigation,environment detection and attitude detection,etc.In this work,the design and production of the system hardware and software are completed.The system algorithm compiling of the software part are finished.The system hardware design,data collection,data processing,data analysis and so on of the hardware part using the microprocessor STM32F411 are completed.The function of hazard detection and location for forest firefighters are realized.The system device is installed at the firefighters' helmet and vamp respectively.Finally,the algorithm and the device performance are tested.Through the analysis of the test experiment,it shows that the system can complete the function of hazard detection and location.The system has practical significance.A reliable and effective solution is provided for firefighters' life safety.The system is of great significance for firefighters' safety assurance.
