Based on machine vision technology,this paper makes a whole research and design of propolis soft capsule testing equipment and testing method.The main work of this paper is as follows:The work process to know the kind of common capsule defects and determine the propolis soft capsule defect detection system is as follows: The feeding and conveying of propolis soft capsules;The image acquisition of capsules to be detected;The defect detection of capsule image;The classification of propolis soft capsules according to the test results.According to the working flow of the soft capsule defect detection system and the characteristics of the soft capsule itself,the key position mechanism of the defect detection equipment is designed.The roller chain with double-speed chain structure is chosen as the carrier of the transport capsule.Using the self-gravity and rolling characteristics of the capsule,a brush-type feeding arrangement mechanism is designed.A movable LED light source is designed by using ball screw,and the soft capsule is tested by using friction to drive the roller rotation.In order to remove the defective capsule from the transport mechanism,a parallel suction device with X-axis and Z-axis motion are designed by using the principle of vacuum pump inhalation.The key technology of image processing in defect detection of soft capsules is studied.The common filtering methods are compared,and the total variational method is selected to filter the image;In order to extract the soft propolis capsule from the complex background,a method combining regional growth with OTSU binarization is proposed.Using the characteristics of the capsule bubble and black spot defect and combining with the contour extraction theory,the contour extraction method which can detect the black spot defect is realized.The appearance standard of soft capsule is quantified to be similar value,and a method combining appearance fitting with Hu distance calculation is proposed to determine whether there is any defect in the appearance of soft capsule by matching the actual appearance with Hu distance of fitting appearance.The control system for defect detection of propolis soft capsules is designed and implemented in this paper.The whole control of the testing equipment is realized by the method of finite state machine.The data interaction between the upper computer system and the lower computer system is realized by means of serial communication.The software system of PC is compiled,and a method of calling defect detection method based on rule base is proposed to realize the rapid detection of propolis soft capsules.
