Jiangxi Province is one of the provinces with the most serious Water and Soil loss in China,and a typical province of soil erosion in red soil hilly area of South China.With the development of the economic construction process,Human activities have seriously affected the development of local ecological environment.At the same time,unreasonable human activity will aggravate the occurrence and development of soil erosion.In 2018,The Ministry of water resources issued the national dynamic monitoring plan of soil erosion(2018-2022),which shift the focus of soil erosion work to supervision,and take “Strong supervision and management to makes up for shortcomings” as the working idea,so that we can cover the whole dynamic monitoring area of Water and Soil loss.Therefore,it is extremely significant to realize the dynamic monitoring area of Water and Soil loss and strengthen the modernization of soil and water conservation in Jiangxi.In this research,we collected data about rainfall,landform,remote sensing image and so on.At the same time,in order to analyze the relationship between various factors and soil erosion,we combine with 3S Technology on the basis of CSLE model,and quantitatively evaluate the soil erosion and its spatial distribution in Jiangxi province at the regional scale.The main conclusions of this research are as follow:(1)In Jiangxi province,the areas with high annual rainfall erosion are mainly concentrated in the northeast and decreasing to the southwest.The soil erodibility factors are generally higher in the northeast region and lower in the south central region,and the slope factors of slope length are mainly concentrated in the range of 0-10,with higher values in mountain and hilly areas and lower values in plain areas.Meanwhile,the vegetation coverage of Jiangxi is high.The area with vegetation coverage greater than 75%,accounts for 77.42% of the total area of garden land,forest land and grassland,and 52.55% of the land area of Jiangxi province.The types of soil and water conservation engineering measures interpreted by high-resolution satellite images mainly include terraced fields and horizontal steps.In Jiangxi province,there are three rotation cultivation areas,namely,The three-ripeness and two-ripeness area of Two lake plain hilly paddy field,The early three-ripeness and two-ripeness area of paddy fields along the river plain,and The three-ripeness and two-ripeness area of Mountain paddy land of Nanling hills.(2)The soil erosion area of Jiangxi province is 22027.52 km2,accounting for 13.19% of the total land area,and it was mainly light erosion.;the average soil erosion modulus was 263.32t/(km2.a),and the total soil erosion was 44 million tons.Soil erosion in Jiangxi province is mainly distributed in mountainous districts such as Shangrao city and Ganzhou city,mainly in the form of mild erosion,strong erosion intensity and above are distributed sporadically,the erosion area of Poyang Lake plain and surrounding areas is relatively small.(3)Soil erosion in Jiangxi province is mainly distributed on the elevation of less than 800 m,and the higher the elevation,the smaller the area of soil erosion.Soil erosion is more serious in areas with slope above 15°,which is mainly light erosion,and water and soil conservation measures need to be added.(4)Mild erosion was mainly concentrated in the high vegetation cover areas of garden land,forest land and grassland,and the mildly eroded area of the high vegetation cover area accounted for 83.07% of the total mildly eroded area of garden land,forest land and grassland,and 13.65% of the total land use area.In some areas,soil erosion is violent but vegetation coverage is also high,which is closely related to local plantation types and orchard development.Therefore,Jiangxi province should strengthen the management of land cover under artificial forests,observe and count the undercover coverage of typical forest types,strengthen soil and water conservation measures of forest and orchard,and reduce the intensity of soil erosion.(5)In Jiangxi province,the light erosion intensity is mainly distributed in the cultivated land,the garden land and the forest land.Among them,the distribution area of woodland is the largest,and the area of strong and above erosion intensity is mainly concentrated in the mining land.The soil erosion in cultivated land is mainly dry land,and the soil erosion area of forest land is large,but it is mainly micro erosion and light erosion.
