Drought and water shortage are the main limiting factors for vegetation construction in the arid desert area in Northwest China.The selection of drought-resistant plants,rational allocation,water-saving and drought-resistant cultivation management techniques are the main current paths.In this paper,the four herb plants of A.mongolicum,A.adsurgens,M.albus,and A.rosea are used as research materials.The method of combining pot control and field experiment is used to study the anti-transpiration agent Fulvic acid,Kaolin and Guan cun,Changes in the effects of different concentrations of anti-transpiration agent on the photosynthetic characteristics,water status and growth of several grasses.And compare the best concentration of anti-transpiration agent for ecological adaptation management of regional vegetation restoration provide guidance and reference.The main findings are as follows:?1?Anti-transpiration agents have different shelf life due to their own characteristics and different concentrations.The duration of Fulvic acid is 7-13 days,the duration of kaolin is 8-11 days,and the duration of Guan cun is 20-30 days.?2?The spraying of the anti-transpiration agents FA,GC and KL on the foliage in pots effectively reduced the gs and Tr of the leaves of A.mongolicum,M.albus,A.adsurgens and A.rosea.The water condition of the plant is improved.At the same time,the anti-transpiration spray also caused some negative effects such as the decline of the herb plant Pn,plant height and biomass.Among the three anti-transpiration agents,GC and KL have stronger inhibitory ability on gs and Tr of four grasses than FA.And it have less negative effects on plant Pn,plant height,and biomass.Among the different concentrations of anti-transpiration agents,the ability of FA to spray 4 ml·L-1,GC to 12 ml·L-1,and KL to20 g·L-1 has a strong ability to inhibit transpiration of four grass species.And the water use efficiency is the best.?3?The spraying of anti-transpiration agents under different soil moisture conditions and different soil types effectively inhibited the A.rosea transpiration rate?Tr?and reduced the stomatal conductance?gs?.The effect of anti-transpiration agent on the net photosynthetic rate?Pn?of A.rosea is different from the plant height and biomass under different soil moisture conditions.Spraying the anti-transpiration agent at 30%soil moisture makes the A.rosea Pn,plant height and biomass were improved compared with the control.Spraying the anti-transpiration agent under the conditions of 50%and 70%soil moisture reduced the Pn value,plant height and biomass of the A.rosea.The growth and development of A.rosea is better than that of gray desert soil under the conditions of windy and sandy soil.The spraying of anti-transpiration agent under different soil types of 70%moisture reduced the Pn value,plant height and biomass of A.rosea compared to the control.The effect of the agent on the Pn and biomass of A.rosea is less than that of gray desert soil under the conditions of windy sand soil.The application of anti-transpiration agent in windy sand soil can improve the relative water content?RWC?and water use efficiency of A.rosea leaves.grey desert soil conditions.?4?In the environment of high temperature and high light intensity,the reflective KL sprays in Ningxia and Mongolia because of its characteristics of reflecting sunlight.The metabolic FA and film-forming GC inhibit the Tr of 4 herbs Stronger.KL treatment improved the water use efficiency of the four herb species more than FA and GC.The spraying of anti-transpiration agent on Inner Mongolia environmental conditions inhibited plant Tr to a greater extent than that under Ningxia environmental conditions.The negative impact on plant net photosynthetic rate was weaker than that under Ningxia environmental conditions.The improvement of water use efficiency was also greater than Ningxia conditions.?5?Through the analytic hierarchy process,the optimal spraying scheme for each herb is obtained.Among them,the 9 ml·L-1GC water-saving and conservation effect is the best for A.mongolicum and A.adsurgens.The M.albus 12 ml·L-1GC has the best water conservation effect.And for A.rosea 20 g·L-1KL has the best water conservation effect.Comparing the scores,9 ml·L-1GC,12 ml·L-1GC and 20 g·L-1KL in 12 anti-transpiration agent spraying schemes are more recommended for use in production practice.
