Northwest Liaoning province is located in the southern margin of horqin sandy land. The soil type of this region is aeolian sand soil, which is characterized by poor soil quality, high sand content, loose and easy to flow. The wind-sand soil has loose structure and is greatly affected by hydraulic erosion. Therefore,it is of great significance to clarify the erosion resistance of wind-sand soil to the ecological restoration of western Liaoning. In this paper,by analyzing the soil water-holding capacity under the different ways of land use characteristics, mechanical characteristics, root system characteristics, mechanical characteristics, characteristics of soil nutrient and density, the use of principal component analysis and correlation analysis method, establishing evaluation system of the western Liaoning north wind sand soil erosion resistance, explore different ways of land use soil erosion resistance size, screening of Western Liaoning north wind sand optimal evaluation index. The results are as follows:(1)the average soil bulk density of each land use mode showed that peanut land was the largest(1.59 g/kg)and almond orchard was the smallest(1.52 g/kg).The organic matter content of 0-20 cm layer in peanut field was 3.89 times that of 40-60 layer, and the organic matter content of 0-20 cm layer in almond field was 4.42 times that of 40-60 layer. The average saturated water content(23.39%)and capillary water holding capacity(21.39%)were the highest in the barren grassland. The average field water holdup was highest in pinus camphor(18.31%)and lowest in apricot orchard(19.07%).The root dry weight density of almond orchards(0.27g/cm~3)and peanut plots(0.03 g/cm~3)were the highest and lowest respectively. The total root length density(2.73cm/cm~3)and average bifurcation number density(51.49 cm/cm~3)were the highest in peanut fields.Different ways of land use volume density of different soil depth of root and root average diameter Groundnut field>mongolica forest land>grassland>DaBianXing orchard.(2)The law of average soil cohesion in different plots was shown as follows:peanut plot(16.94kpa)>camphor pine plot(14.69kpa)>almond orchard(10.48kpa)>weedy plot(9.67kpa).Angle of internal friction of soil is of weeds to(27.92°)Groundnut field(27.82°)>mongolica forest(27.75°)>DaBianXing orchard(22.62°).Soil is characterized by the Angle of Groundnut field(39.72°)>mongolica forest(38.14°)>grassland(36.86°)>DaBianXing orchard(35.13°).(3)The index system of soil erosion resistance in the wind-sand land in the northwest of liaoning province is composed of 15 indexes including five parts:soil water retention, mechanical composition, root system, soil mechanical properties, soil nutrients and bulk density.Saturated water content, capillary water capacity, silt content, total root length density, root surface area density, bulk density, sand content and root volume density were significantly correlated with soil corrosion resistance, and saturated water content had the highest correlation with bulk density, which was the best index for evaluating soil corrosion resistance. The comprehensive corrosion resistance of different land use patterns was the strongest in barren grass land, the second in pinus camphor forest land, and the worst in peanut land and almond orchard. It is suggested to choose grassland or forest land for local land use.
