The traditional mode in livestock farming brings a heavy manpower burden,but also affects the benefit of livestock breeding.With the progress of the society,people's life is closely connected with the animal husbandry,and the promotion of the better development of animal husbandry is also a part of the main aspects of the national policy.High quality,high technology and high intelligence are the development direction of livestock farming.The prototype system for precision livestock farming developed in this paper is an attempt to apply virtual reality technology to precision livestock farming.It is comply with the requirements of the times,and can also promote the development of livestock breeding industry more efficiently and safely.The development of the prototype system is based on the point cloud data.This paper first analyzes the structure and working principle of the point cloud data acquisition tool Kinect.Through the combination of hardware and software,it builds a platform for obtaining point cloud data,completes the acquisition of point cloud data,and analyzes the related modules in the point cloud library.The preprocessing operation of the acquired point cloud data is carried out.By analyzing and comparing two common point cloud segmentation algorithms,the random sampling consistency algorithm suitable for the research background is selected to complete the segmentation function of the point cloud data.Then,based on the investigation of the real livestock farms,the virtual breeding scene is designed and built with the three-dimensional engine Unity3 D.The virtual culture in the virtual breeding farm implements the real-time interaction between the prototype system and the real-time data transmission from the separated point cloud data in the virtual breeding farm,and can alarm the abnormal behavior of the virtual aquaculture in the virtual farm.In the development of the prototype system,it is the core of this development to realize real-time monitoring and controlling.Through the verification of the real time and accuracy of the prototype system,it shows that the prototype system can complete the monitoring function well and accurately.
