At present, rocky desertification and serious soil erosion are one of the most serious ecological and environmental problems in karst areas. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to establish a new model of vegetation restoration and reconstruction that could solve the problem of rocky desertification in karst areas, help to overcome poverty, and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. The primary task of rocky desertification control is to achieve the goal of ecological restoration by planting pioneer plants, forming pioneer communities and restoring vegetation.Ampelopsis grossedentata is a vine of Ampelopsis Michx. It has the characteristics of developed root system, rapid growth, strong adhesion ability, strong adaptability, high medicinal value and broad product market prospects. All of these indicate Ampelopsis grossedentata that the non karst adaptive plant may be the pioneer plant of rocky desertification control in karst area. Therefore, this study mainly explored the growth status of Ampelopsis grossedentata in karst soil, the content change of the main medicinal active ingredient flavonoids in the plant, and the change of key enzymes’ vitality in it’s metabolic pathways. It laid a foundation for repairing ecological problems and improving local economic development in karst rocky desertification area.Experimental results show that:1.The Ampelopsis grossedentata could grow and develop normally by transplanting it from weak acid, low calcium, low magnesium and nutrient rich non karst soil to weak alkaline, high calcium, high magnesium and nutrient deficient dolomite or limestone soil.2.In the whole growth and development process of Ampelopsis grossedentata on dolomite and limestone soil in Karst area. The contents of dihydromyricetin, myricetin and myricitrin in the leaves of Ampelopsis grossedentata and the activities of phenylalanine ammonia lyase and chalcone isomerase in karst soil were higher than those in the suitable soil. However, there were sample sources, soil properties, development stages and individuals differences. The results showed that phenylalanine ammonia lyase, chalcone isomerase and flavonoids play an important role in maintaining the normal growth and development of plants and enhancing the ability of plant’ s resistance to stress.3.The activities of phenylalanine ammonia lyase and chalcone isomerase were positively correlated with the contents of dihydromyricetin, myricetin and myricitrin. There was a significant correlation between phenylalanine ammonia lyase activity and dihydromyricetin content, and the correlation coefficient was 0.505(P< 0.01).The results showed that phenylalanine ammonia lyase plays an important role in the metabolism and accumulation of dihydromyricetin.4.There was a positive correlation among the contents of dihydromyricetin, myricetin and myricitrin. There was a significant correlation between dihydromyricetin and myricetin, the correlation coefficient was 0.373(P<0.05).There was a significant correlation between myricetin and myricitrin, the correlation coefficient was 0.365(P<0.05).The results confirmed the conversion relationship of the three compounds in the biosynthesis pathway.5.The spatial distribution of dihydromyricetin in Ampelopsis grossedentata was as follows: the content of dihydromyricetin increased from the bottom to the top of the plant, and decreased from the bottom to the top of the leaf. This discovery provides theoretical guidance for sampling work in plant research.
